Monty Oum, the creator of Dead Fantasy is creating a new show, called RWBY {Red White Black Yellow} so far, there is a trailer which showcase what I believe is Red, a girl based off of Little Red Riding hood. It's incredibly badass, and the soundtrack so far sounds amazing!

Monty said that the characters don't have any blood relations, so I doubt Ruby is Yang's actual sister. They share a sisterly bond most likely.

Okay... Time for me to go to work on one of my favorite hobby's: analyzing battle style's

First and foremost: Ruby's style.

 

Ruby's style is a mixture of instant death dealing blows (Mostly aiming at the head rather than waiting time dealing damage) and momentum-based strikes. This makes her the second most physically strong character at the least, being outclassed in pure muscle by Yang. She seems to be the most defensively able so far because of the high-speed movement and recoil she can withstand with ease, as well as being the most experienced. She uses the kick from the shot gun to give her extra leverage when using attacks, like when she chopped off the head of one of the wolfs. She seems to have very high speed and skill, finishing the still large pack of wolfs with her last assault in what seems to be under a minute. I assume this number considering how long it took for the bullets to land in the snow. Maybe this is over-analysis, but if we were moving into real-life terms, this would be true.

 

Next, Weiss's style.

 

She has a extremely fast style of attack, but she focuses more on non-lethal hits till the end with the finisher. The blows she dealt in her promo would injure a normal person, but blows to the legs and arms normally aren't instantly lethal, neither are slashes at the chest that don't cut strait through the body, but this is all justified by her weapon. Her rapier is very slender, meaning that large cuts and slashes through the body would have success, but would also have the possibility of really damaging or breaking it. The attacks at the body that are non-lethal slow the enemy down due to pain and injury, as well as making more openings for attack, albeit small, but the slender design of the blade makes use of that. She seems to have the worst of the defensive capability of them thus far, being far outclassed by Ruby and, to a lesser extent, Yang. She seems to be blown away by some not too strong attacks and bounce, implying she is very light-weight, which means her speed is increased to a point that her defense isn't an issue normally. She uses a large variety of magics, which can be chosen though switching what mode the blade is in. She so far has ethereal plate-based magic which allows you to make areas for you to stand on or trick enemy's with. She has ice, some kind of power-booster magic as well as a accuracy-increasing magic(Used in the assault that disarmed the Knight) and a white magic which seems to encompass much more power overall. But this is not the extent, as there are more colors on the dial. She is the only one of the main cast who's weapon was not modified with a gun attachment. She is easily the fastest and maybe most skilled.

 

Next Blake:

 

Blake seems to be the most rounded, but unskilled of all of the girls. She seems to lack a large amount of formal training and/or experience, but her speed(Making her third fastest) and nimble movement(She is second most nimble, beaten by Yang) work a large advantage for her. She switches between lethal and non-lethal attacks, making them more varied. Her weapon starts as a short, broad, one sided blade, but can be switched to a smaller short(What seems like)two-sided blade by removing the larger blade on top and using it individually. The smaller blade can be converted even farther down into a small sickle-like weapon with a gun on the end and a cord to control it. In her promo, she uses it, along with the gun end to direct the blade and the cord gives it a much farther range. Her weapon and style are also the most versatile, she seems to be able to switch strategies at a glance, but seems to sometimes underestimate her opponent landing her in trouble. Her lack of experience is almost obvious, and sad, but she seems to have large amounts of skill with what she has now, so she's by no means helpless, but the fact her fighting style is way too underdeveloped and her skill overall is a little lacking behind the others means she will slow the others down a lot until she improves. She has the most work cut out for her, but at the same time, she has solid basics and seems to have aptitude and a good grasp of her real skills and ability's, but she lacks the power and skill that Adam has. She is the most well-rounded of the four, as well as most versatile.

 

Finally, Yang.

 

Yang has a kick-boxer style, and this is visible from miles off. She incorporates kicks, but mostly relies on punches for her melee. She is very highly skilled, tying with Weiss in terms of skill. She is very painfully obvious that she is the powerhouse of the group, being seemingly a little bulky just from her attire, she shows she has strength. But this bulkiness is also apparent in her speed. She seems to be the slowest of the fighters, having fast movement, her attacks lack speed, making her fourth slowest of the group in striking speed. She is extremely nimble and flexible, though, being able to avoid shots and melee like nothing, then attempting counters, behind Blake, she has the second most versatile style. Her reaction time is quite good, being able to react to shots and rockets like it's nothing. Her defense is probably second, right behind Ruby's. The blow from the large baseball bat would have probably knocked Ruby away as well, even with her skill and defensive quality's we have seen so far. She is very direct, going for body shots near the heard and large artery's in the body, as well as face shots, she goes for broke and is very brutal.This is very evident in the scene before the fight when she appears to smash Junior's *ahem* balls with her bare hand. She seems to demand absolute respect as well, increasing the pain on him whenever Junior addressed her as something other than "Sir". She uses two gauntlets with a tompha attachment onto the sides. She is easily the most powerful of the four, even being so strong as to absolutely outclass Adam, who has the skill of absorbing attacks and using them to cut down an enemy.

 

That is my analysis of the styles they use thus far. If you find any inaccuracy's in them, gimme a heads up and I will try and fix.

I've still got no idea for Ruby's grave. My previous theory of her family member dying seems unlikely now with Yellow. And my it being her own grave idea seems less likely now. Blake seems like a fugitive if the picture Yang showed really was her. And there were crates with the Schnee family symbol (what I'm guessing it is) in the Black trailer. so it was probably an attack on that. But I think Weiss probably got them to do it or is helping them. "Burdened by a royal test". She could very well have a decision to make between helping the kingdom if you want to call it that or helping Blake and Adam.Yang could be looking for her for a bounty or for another reason like trying to regroup.

ehh, my opinion on this RWBY is kinda neutral at moment. 

I mean animation looks amazing and most of the characters look really cool, but I wouldn't mind if it wouldn't be so anime styled and those dudes in Yellow trailer looked really awkward

Voice acting in trailers has been terrible 

I really don't like music all that much, but it fits on action

Also Weiss and Blake have quite boring weapons compared to frigging scythe/sniper and boxing glove/gun hybrids

I'm an this point too. And regardless I have to agree: The VA is a tad bit off. Actually a lot. I'm okay with the weapons though, Except with Blake maybe.

OMG everyone, I was looking through Youtube for RWBY videos because I wanted to see Red, White and Black again when I stumbled upon Yellow.  Take a look at this!  (Although I expected Red's voice to be a bit more serious, but lol, anyways, it's an awesome trailer.)
