Because I sure as heck haven't. -_-  I'm even on level 75 and *still* can't get more than a few strikes in.  I can survive for probably close to 10 minutes though, so long as I'm exclusively healing and dodging...  (How pathetic am I, right?!)

 

Just curious who all has managed to defeat him, and what level they were on when they managed to do it.

 

(On a side note: I have defeated Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII, but he was far easier in his own game, haha!)

 

ETA: I'm referring to the Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 1, for anyone who was wondering.

it took me till level 70 to beat him them i just kept beating him to max myself out. but the first time i beat him i threw my hands in the air dropped the controller and fell onto my bed waking up hours later finding that i accidently knocked over the playstation before i had saved it .... so i died a little inside then picked up the controller and tried again

It has a little to do with luck, but do you the methods? And where to find the White Mushrooms? There are certain locations, and if you enter them a lot till they appear, them leave the world, they'll keep showing up.

If you don't know the way, just search youtube. I remebered I used a awesome video that helped a lot. So, good luck!

Thanks for the advice!  Yeah, I generally go to The End of the World in that one room before the Final Resting place (I forget what it's called now, sorry).  After about 10+ times of my entrance there'll be some kind of Shroom, whether it be the Blue or White ones, but generally they're blue and I'm awful at keeping them up in the air.  Checking out Youtube sounds like a great idea though; thanks!

 

Beat him first try, no lie. Kept me on my toes, though. 77. Use Strike Raid whenever reasonably possible, you'll learn to love its invincibility frames after the battle.

The White Mushroom (in my opinion) is much easier. I usually farm Mistery Goo on Deep Jungle, in that room just before the tent. You have to use the same magic three times on the same Mushroom, if I'm not mistaken. 

Also, if you want to farm it from the blue Mushroom (he has another name, but I forgot ), the open area in Neverland, where you fight Hook, it's a good area to find and farm it from then, since you can fly with him, and go really high, it makes things easier.

Yep I've beat him a few times on expert mode, I always end my KH playthroughs with defeating Sephiroth.

I've only beaten him in the second, I attempted him in the first game on accident but I died in about the blink of an eye. Honestly without triangle to win, he's scary, one winged angel playing in the background (though I probably didn't even survive enough to make it to the chorus lol) and all his deadly attacks he scares me lol....

Sad to say, I have never defeated Sephiroth in the first Kingdom Hearts -____-

I beat him last week for the first time on Normal. Pack a lot of Elixirs and now the timing of his attacks. I doubt he's much harder in Expert, and I'll probably do it on my 1.5 remix run... I beat him in KH2, but only on beginner... I'll take him in a proud mode run eventually.

Beat him on Normal with the Ultima and elixirs. I dunno what level I was but definetly not maxed. I didn't max my level out until KH2
