Is it just me guys or is this site lagging really bad?

It's lagging for me pretty badly too. I thought it was just my wi-fi, but I guess it's the site. DC is probably updating the site.

Why does this happen anyways? Any specific reasons? There's not too much activity, I mean, there have been few threads these days...

Yeah, loading notifications, posting, quoting, everything taking ages. Sometimes, I find it hard to load the main page

My notifications that forever to load. 

I thought it was just my internet connection. Since it sucks most of the time. :I

Sometimes it just takes forever to load something but not to frequently.  

Me too. 

Yeah I thought it was only me but it is interesting to see that it is affecting others.

I kept getting server errors throughout mid afternoon.

Keep in mind that I'm as clueless as you guys (well, maybe not quite that clueless ) when it comes to the site being slow. If I knew how to fix this, then I would, as a nice-running site is one of the highest priorities. But, alas, I do not know why it does this. I'll do what I can to fix it.
