December 10, 201212 yr There are classes, don't worry. At least in Virginia, you take a mandatory economics class junior year, where you talk about most of that stuff.
December 10, 201212 yr ^ Same in Illinois. But, God, how does someone not know how to vote? It's just filling in a bubble next to the name of the person you want elected
December 10, 201212 yr I don't know how to do most of that stufff.... I don't know anything about taxes, or how to vote, or how to write a check in a check book, or loans or college or how to jump start a car, or how to buy a car or house. But I do know the the pythagorean theorem.

December 10, 201212 yr I learned more of this stuff from my parents than school. They proved to be better teachers in some parts of my life
December 10, 201212 yr >What political parties are and all that other political jazz >All that monetary stuff did this person sleep through gov and econ class? as far as resumé, cover letter etc go, I learned all that in a food and life skills class in middle school, and then again during freshman year of HS in english class. December 10, 201212 yr Ok on a serious note is there a class for some this this stuff or will I just have to figure it out. I did have an economics and government class my senior year of highschool, so I suppose that covers some stuff. In college there are classes you can take about planning your career and such, which includes how to write a resume. At least they had one at my community college.
