Hey guys, I was watching the news a few days ago, and I saw news of a mother who killed her own child.  Apparently the baby was crying, and to make the baby calm down, she breast fed her child, and she put the baby upside down and made her child die by choking on it's own milk.  And then another report indicates a father who tried to make his baby calm down by shaking it violently, and so in doing that, he killed his baby.  It makes me so mad how some parents can be so irresponsible with their children.  If they didn't want them, then they should have put them in adoption, but killing them was too far, these are babies we're talking about!  Babies are innocent, and they don't deserve to die!  It's so messed up!  What do you guys think of this?

That's just so sad. It really sucks when people do things like that. The babies definitely deserve better.

I agree.  It's unfair to think how babies have to go through this.  They are innocent beings who don't even know how to defend themselves, and it infuriates me on how some parents don't know how to take their responsibilities seriously.  

That's all just so wrong D; I am deeply saddened.

It's true, and no matter how much we try, violence like this will always exist.  The best we can do is avoid this type of violence.  Let adults bicker among themselves, but children deserve better.  They are the hope of a better future.  We have a responsibility to guide these children on the right path so that they can make this world a better place.

When I heard this news I couldn't believe it I just didn't understand how can someone do such a terrible thing. :'(I really don't know what's going on in this world why there is so many bad people?!

I heard this story on the news about a dad leaving the house to go to a bar and he left the dog to watch the baby. The mother pressed charges on the father.

Depressing.

Babies!? From kids, to teens to adults, now babies? This world is going out of hand, really.

It's just messed up. If your child is choking, you should try to save him, not let him die! The first time I heard these news I was enraged, babies are barely starting out their lives. Those people are murderers, there's no other way to describe it. And if your baby died, why put him in the freezer for days and pretend you're being held hostage by your husband? I saw the full news report for that, and those people are just heartless.

I'm not saying of this is right by any means, but just going to point out that a lot of the time these things are accidents. They're not horrible parents in most of these cases at all. For instance, the guy who shook his baby too hard? A lot of times we're so used to physically shaking someone to get them to shut up, that it's an automatic reaction, especially when a parent has been driven insane by incessant crying. The second they've done it they're like, oh, god, I forgot you really can't treat babies the same way you treat adults. They love their child and never intended to hurt them. Don't condemn people if you don't know the circumstances.

it makes me so angry to even think that people who harm children are just sent to prisons or asylums for couple of years and if they behave good they can get out sooner so they can do same crimes all over again. in my opinion, those peoples deserves to get tortured or killed.

Parents these days are so violent to thier own children ughh just the thought of that makes me sick!

UMMM no It's not .Read what i said .Parents that kill or harm their babies ON PURPOSE deserve the death penalty .If they can take a harmless defenseless child's life they don't deserve their own life..Also , America gives criminals way more rights and due process compared to most countries, especially ones where just illegally crossing their border can get you executed so what does America have to do with what i said ?

In my country, we haven't seen the death penalty since the 18th century, so it's a bit weird for me to see people that support the death penalty

Maybe he didn't know what he was doing, and accidentaly killed the baby.

I'm not talking about accidental deaths. Just ones on purpose. Plus , of course they will try to lie and say it wasn't on purpose . No one likes baby killers or wants to go to prison ..In prison everyone is innocent even serial killers, right ? ( sarcasm )

I am against killing these people, however, they should be locked away for the rest of their lives.

I find it disturbing to kill a killer in order to do some kind of "justice".
