A teaser for some "big" Pokemon news appeared at the end of a trailer for Pokemon Black & White Version 2 in Japan.
 
It looks likely to be an announcement for the next major title, and finally for the Nintendo 3DS.
 
Hopefully it's a remake of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

I pray to the Pokemon gods for this to happen. If this is a Ruby/Sapphire remake... I'll play through both and make a Pokemon website, I promise. :>

All these news makes me think it could be RBY/GSC-> RS type of thing. In other words, an almost revamp game for the 3DS. (RS remake?)

 

Sad part could be they troll us with incompatible trading.

 

Ooh he's willing to make a Pokemon site if a remake happens? Maybe I'll finally be in a Pokemon forum that is active and not full of... (You don't want to know my past experiences)

RSE REMAKE PLEASEEEEEEEEEE

Personally, I'd rather have DChiuch focusing on the Final-13 website instead of a Pokemon one, that's what Serebii is for. I strongly believe it will be a remake, in Black and White 2, if you go into the Game Freak building and ride the elevator, you can talk to the one of the game designers. He will say he's thinking of ideas for a new game, and there's an item right beside him. That item is a revive. Revive=Remake.  Probably a remake of RSE, but I personally believe they'll reboot the series, since the creator said he wanted to Evolve the world of Pokemon. I think they'll keep the same Pokemon, but reboot Blue and Red or Green in a fully three dimensional environment with possible access to Johto after you beat the game. I understand they already remade Green and Red, but since it was for the GBA, its equally deserving of a remake as RSE are.

In all seriousness, I think they're going to tease either Jewel remakes, B/W III (unlikely, but considering the sequelgasm that seems to keep happening with games lately I wouldn't be surprised.) or the first 3DS RPGs. I reaaaaaaally hope it's the latter.

Personally I don't want a RSE remake anymore, and I don't think they're going to do one either. As the least popular generation (in terms of sales), it wouldn't really make sense for them to remake it. Instead, I believe the next games will be Generation 6, and in these games, I think you'll be able to visit Hoenn, sort of like visiting Kanto in Gold/Silver. This is my wild guess.

I'm kinda hopeless about the RSE remake, but If they by chance do it, then kadjfgadkjfbaffakd.

 

 

I wonder what happened to the PMD one...

If they don't remake Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald then that would leave 5th gen all alone and sad… not being paired with a remake that is.…Though I wouldn't mind anyway since 5th gen is my least favorite so BRING ON 6th gen first, then pair it with the RSE remakes. Perfect! :lol:

Hoenn is my least favorite region. I hope its 6th gen.......but, I'm still waiting for that pokemon game with all the regions.

RSE remake? Nah...i never really liked Ruby anyway, but truly enjoyed playing HG/SS, P/D/P, Blk/Wht and Blk2/wht2 though.

Gba system is the source of my epic hatred of RSE. why? You can easily emulate it by using VBA emulator, which gives them hackers a chance to edit games, textures... I've seen a scary ammount of hacked pokemon games, they even made a GBA's replica of black 2 and white 2.

so i can clearly say GBA sucks, and making a RSE remake is not really gonna ring a bell, 'specially with it's short storyline.

RSE was the first generation with double battles, also it was pretty cool having a PokeNav, but i still think making a remake of the 2th Gen is a mistake tho'.

 

Ohh, and you know, GBA's FR/GL was a remake of GBC's R/G/B, HG/SS is also a remake of GBC's Gold/Silver/Crystal. so i doubt they will make a second remake outta these generations.

The second generation was Johto. No one's suggesting they remake HeartGold and SoulSilver because that would be stupid.

I read about it yesterday it really made me happy

 

Things im hoping for:

 

Pokemon MMORPG

6th Generation games

 

 

 

R/S/E remakes will be nice, but id like to try something new. Yes Pokmeon MMORPG have all the regions but it will still be very fun if they make it dynamic and beautiful enough. 

Now R/S/E feels lonely, because it was the only gen that didn't have a remake. I think it deserves at least a post-game play through, like Gen2, 16 badges and two regions.  I might like a Hoenn-Gen6 like that. <.<

If it makes money=remake. It's going to happen, just who knows when. RS remake should make sense in 2014 as it's 10 years since it's original release.

 

Also even DS games have been hacked almost to the point where GBA games were. I fail to understand how the more hacked it is, the less worthy it is of a remake.

maybe it's a collection set of DS (possibly prior) titles bound together for 3ds? unlikely but hey. Whatever it is, I'm in.... unless it's BWIII. I couldn't be firetrucked with BWII after slogging through the joke of the first games.....

I think a rse remake would be good. It was a pretty good gen. That or gen 6 would be good for an announcement.

This is...more possible in fact. RSE versions were fantastic... and the only ones which i worked so much to complete my pokedex... (Thing that i never did) anyway... i suposse Gen-6 is more reliable.
