Obviously, I am the new kid in town. I have been coming to this site for a couple of years and thought it's time to make a membership. I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan. My best friend gotme into the series and I have become (as he has called me) a Kingdom Hearts "expert". I own KH 358/2 Days, BbS, Re: coded, and KH3D. I have my sight set to KH3. So I hope to make many friends here:).

I went into the series in 2009 yet I somehow know more than my best friend who has been with the series since September 17th, 2002. Isn't that a little odd to you?

Not really, you might have been able to pick up on more things due to simply having the info presented rather than thinking what would happen between each game and possibly confusing/frustrating yourself if you got into it later than your friend. Assuming you two are roughly the same age.
