I haven't made a serious thread in a while, so here's food for thought:

 

Currently, we know what a grand total of 10 former members of Org. XIII are doing nowadays: Roxas and Xion are inside Sora's noggin. Lea's a new Keyblade wielder (ballin'.), Aeleus, Ienzo, Dilan and Even are searching through Ansem's junk, Saix and Braig are Norts, and Xemnas is one of MX's right hand men.

 

As for the 4 that weren't a former apprentice of Ansem The Wise or connected to Sora or something else: Marluxia, Larxene, Demyx, and Luxord...well, meh.

 

Btw, I call them the "lesser" Nobodies because of their one-dimensional-ism. It's not judgement, it's a fact: all the other members have a background  and them? Nothing.

 

And that brings me to my point: should these characters just fade away into irrelevancy like the voice actors for Sora and Riku did, or should they be brought back into the plot by some way, shape, and form?Personally, for me, I think it'd be nice to see them as Somebodies and have a solid background that would explain who they are and why they joined the Organization and all that. It'd be nice to see why Larxene is such a BITCH and why Demyx is such a BITCH. (you see what I did there?)

 

Of course, that brings up the question to "where were they during Kingdom Hearts 1?" Well, the Org. started building up members pre-KH1...so in that logic, and considering the cutscenes we saw in KH2 FM...as well as various other factors...they're have to be a good explanation as to where they were and why they joined. I just hope they have more reason to appear than the WEWY guys showing up in DDD. (Ok, that last one may not be fair in some circles.)

 

But anyways, what do you think? Should they come back, and if they do, how and why? I know you have theories; I saw that one thread by that one guy from some time ago...and stuff.

they should come back by showing their past before they became nobodies. i was curious about what their somebodies names would be and their past

I would love to get at least cameos showing them as somebodies and finally get to know their human names. However I think there's a huge chance that some if not all came back as a darkness too . Demyxnort would be shocking but funny

Larxene was pretty hurt in life. Marluxia was... pink. Demyx played his sitar. Luxord gambled. 

It's possible even hinted by Nomura those nobodies that haven't made appearances could be successfull vessel and are one hooded figures who appeared in TWTNW.

Their backstories probably wouldn't be important enough to learn to give them screentime that could be given to the members that played a greater role.  A solid background for them wouldn't enhance much unless Nomura found a way to make it work, but with the way things are going now, it doesn't seem important.  To me, who the lesser members were and why they joined sounds interesting, but unnecessary as a whole.  It doesn't seem like we need to know any of that stuff to understand what's going on, unless Nomura pulls another fast one on us and brings out an important plot point involving them with zero hint to its existence.

I want Demyx to return as a good guy. Because it is Demyd. He's funny.Also, I maintain my belief his name is Dyme.

When I read the tittle I thought you meant the dusk and samurai's and such which I would like to fight again.

Post.Script: about the twewy characters who else wants them to be in your party for a particular world like the disney characters or at least assit memmbers like the final fantasy characters and axel were in kh2.

Pre-kh2, the organization was keeping a low profile so their actions wouldn't be noticed by someone like King Mickey. Also, before Roxas and Xion joined, I don't think they could quite push forward with all of their plans.

 

As you said, they are "lesser". Nomura's admitted that he didn't really have a back-story for them; while they may have back-stories...so does everybody in the universe. They're sort of just random victims of the heartless that happened to be sentient nobodies.

 

However, if everyone keeps their powers after becoming whole like Lea did...I don't really see them just fading away into the background as easily...and while their pasts may not be given spotlights (who knows, it may be nothing more than "everything changed when the heartless attacked), they may have more future importance.

Luxord and Marluxia would sound like they have interesting pasts. Maybe Larxene too.

As for Demyx, I'm sure we all know he was the same person before.

Still kickin I think the Nobodies that didn't show their faces at the end of 3D were the same number for the unaccounted for Nobodies we haven't seen return, we also don't have any clue on what they were before the Organization. Xehanort had tested Axel Vexen and Zexion during Chain of Memories, someone said that some of the members didn't meet the expectations, they never made clear who failed.

I wouldn't be too happy seeing Marluxianort or Larxenenort, mainly because of their treason. But Luxordnort would be welcome...

Luxord happens to be my favorite.

I think at least one of them will be a darkness coz otherwise wouldnt xemnas have said that only one became a nort since xigbar was already one and xemnas is xemnas. But he said MOST were not suitable. Hard to believe that Demyx could be one though but it could happen lol
