I hate how they made it a PS Vita exclusive. What happened to making it both PS3 and PS Vita Square? On the other hand, glad to see that the Vita is getting more exclusives to help it sell.

Shinji Hashimoto from Square Enix apologized for the long wait, adding that they were concentrating on developing the HD version properly for the Vita and the PS3, aiming to do the best HD version possible. No release date was given tonight, but Hashimoto said the game's release date announcement would be coming shortly and told everyone to "wait for that."

Vita is 960 x 522. Every other "HD" that is on the Vita is an HD Collection that is interlinked to a PS3 version through Crossplay.

Well, it seems like it might be on the Ps3 after all. It feels strange to me that 1.5 is a Ps3 exclusive now.

According to information from Examiner, Final Fantasy X HD has been worked only slowly since the first half of 2012 but was officially announced earlier at TGS 2011. Presented during this morning's Japanese live-stream, series producer Shinji Hashimoto revealed the PS Vita version of Final Fantasy X HD.

As I personally don't understand Japanese, I can't tell you what he says in the video that you can see below but when the opening ballad of the game comes on all sorts of memories of that game come rushing back. For those interested in finding out if the game will be available for any other device, it will be coming to the PS3 in HD but no release dates or prices have been announced yet.
