Posted February 27, 201312 yr Titanic II blueprints are revealed by an Australian billionaire after he wanted to rebuild it almost a year ago. He's claiming lots of people maybe willing to pay due to 40,000 emails that want Titanic II updates but I'm waiting for my flight in "Hindenburg II" http://www.forbes.com/sites/anthonykosner/2013/02/26/clive-palmers-titanic-ii-is-something-new-a-reenactment-of-the-20th-century/ Edited February 27, 201312 yr by Noobles
February 27, 201312 yr The 'unsinkable' ship version two is slated to be built in CHINA if this takes off. Am I the only one to think it's a little nerve wracking to see the words 'unsinkable' and "China" in the same sentence?
February 27, 201312 yr Hopefully this ship doesn't get mauled by an iceberg. Nahh it'll be bombed by iraqis
February 27, 201312 yr Author The 'unsinkable' ship version two is slated to be built in CHINA if this takes off. Am I the only one to think it's a little nerve wracking to see the words 'unsinkable' and "China" in the same sentence? Don't worry, I saw that too. When I read it, I was going "Well Good Luck with that!" Obviously, this plan won't fail like it did in 1912. Wish he did it in 2012 haha.
February 27, 201312 yr I don't have a negative feeling for this as it could potentially generate A LOT of money for the economy in (Australia?) through tourism and make a great attraction in any harbour it docks at. It could potentially be the ULTIMATE cruise holiday for the wealthiest of the wealthy - a flagship for the 21st century
February 27, 201312 yr i always have a bad feeling that ship is going to end up destroyed somehow when it's finished and then comes the sequel
February 28, 201312 yr Believe it or not, modern day cruise ships make the titanic look like a little tugboat. And I have a little faith in the idea, but come on, this idea is asking for trouble. I hope that safety isn't overlooked. Also, are any Titanic survivors still alive? They'd be over 100 by now and would be too small to even remember what happened, but I still think that if there are any survivors still around, they should be offered a free round trip, first class. February 28, 201312 yr If the construction and failure of Titanic II makes James Cameron make a second film, I'm down. @Amon What firetrucking survivor of the Titanic would want to relive that experience? Come on Now! lol. Edited February 28, 201312 yr by Alagoth
February 28, 201312 yr I seriously thought they were gonna make a sequel to the movie Titanic when I read the title Hopefully this Titanic is more lucky than the first.
March 1, 201312 yr In my mind, any ship bearing the name Titanic will have a doomed fate. Just let the past go... making a new one won't honor a tragedy any more then just leaving it alone.
March 1, 201312 yr idk about the storyline and shiz about the ship all i want is a rock remix of that theme
