So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Isaac quickly turned to carbon again, deflecting the shadows easily with his arm as they were the same material. Immediately afterwards, Isaac dodged the tail by biokinetically forcing his spine and limbs away from the strike before grabbing the tail himself, using it as a blade to stab directly into Lupus' own back. Isaac whistled as he somersaulted backwards, above and past Lupus. He then ducked down and centered his palm on one blow in Ember's lower stomach, just as he was simultaneously struck with a tomahawk.

 

"Goodbye, Xander. Goodbye, Rasiel." Joshua said simply, but raspily and sadly. He looked down to the ground, one tear sliding down and hitting the floor, leaving a small wet mark on the ground, and a trail across his face. More tears were likely to flow, but there was hardly enough water in his system to support the body, and cry. His shadows gloomed over and Joshua vanished, soon to reappear. A shadowy, preemptive and surprise strike.

(I guess this is Yuffie's retaliation... in the meantime I don't entirely know if Joshua is still an enemy so I found some music just in case he is)

Lupus saved herself from such a deadly poison by quickly adapting a scorpion exoskeleton, which is entirely resistant to the poison. Ember took the strike, in exchange a clean hit on the psycho. She gritted her teeth, and summoned a parry blade. She put Isaac's wrist in the curve, and twisted. Under normal circumstances, this would slice off the wrist. But in this case, it'd just buy her time. Ember backed off for a second, before jumping and twisting her legs to aim a scissor kick at Isaac's head. Lupus saw her chance, and changed her arms into electric eels, and tackled the scientist's legs. Sylar, eager for a chance to retaliate again, flew full speed at Isaac's torso, colliding with full momentum.

(And time for revival)

The winds flowing in all directions were running around. A noise of battle echoes around the place, A group of almost strangers for him were fighting a demon like creature, the wind bender was trying to hold it back while the other fighted another enemy. He was seeing the scene then reckonizing someone in the group:

"Fulmen! and Yumi too!"

 

He was about to help them when he noticed the blink on the twister...

"it´s getting weaker. I need to do something"

Quickly he pulled out a paper and a pen and started to run across the place trying to reach the one with the wind powers. He took five seconds to end the image, ending it it become a strong tornado joining with the one holding back the demon- like one.

 

"Hey You! Try to hang on a little more time!" Locke said looking at him...

 

(4-6 post left before his demise...)

 

"ROOAAARRGGGHHH!!"Kijiya roared as his roar deflected back some of the wind that Ren attack while he still feel burning on his chest."GRRR...."Kijiya stood down as he tries to endure the pain he got from nowhere.(Dammit!Where this Pain COME FROM!?)Kijiya thought as he keep trying to enduring it while avoid the attacks from others with his incredible speed....

Neisse kept firing. Good thing I didn't use my mega laser a third time, he thought. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to do this. My energy recharges to fire my weapons near-infinitely. "Yumi, now would be a good time to soak the thing so Fulmen can zap the hell out of it!"

"You can do that????" He asked Rasiel, obvious surprise in his voice "You're full of surprises." He was basically following Rasiel into the woods as she led them

 

He shot one last glance to Joshua as he vanished and then looked forward once again.

 

[Am I too weak..?? How can I protect Rasiel if I keep getting injured??!!] He was frustrated. He got injured, and now him and Rasiel had to go hide.

 

{I'm sorry..} He sent to her in telepathy.

"I hope you know you're paying for this..." Rasiel said through telepathy.

"If something happens to Joshua, I'm not just sitting here. I will help fight Xander, and I don't care if you're going to possibly die, but you need to fight too." She said quietly.

There was silence as Rasiel found an okay spot to hide in.

"Xander...don't worry about my wound, or me, okay?" She snapped, flying up with her demon form on a tree branch and changing into her human form there.

Yumi nodded. "Water it is then~" She lifted her hand up.

A wall of water started to form. "Okay,I'll send the water on him,you do your thing." She said.

She threw the water wall at Kijiya."Okay,when the water hits him,zap him!" She told Fulmen.

"You'd sacrifice the living for the dead..??" He sighed and starting to float off the ground. He slowly rose to where she was and landed on a branch close to her. He glanced around the woods

 

"If we interfere, Sylar might go back on his promise and attack us.. It's better if Sylar fights Isaac and Joshua. If we fight right now.. we might have to fight all three of them." He looked at Rasiel

 

"This is better for us.. For the moment at least.." He said

 

After a few moments, he started using his telekinesis to rustle the branch she was on playfully. Smiling a bit as he did so.

"Stop or I'll kick you off of this branch and you'll fall flat on your face." Rasiel snapped. 

Xander just triggered her rudeness, especially today.

"For the moment, I don't care if Sylar kills me, I should be dead already. Damned Karu..." she said the last part quietly. 

Xander was laughing

 

"That won't happen again!!" He chuckled "Or at least, yu'll have a harder time now, since I'm awake. Not like last time." He tugged it once more then stopped

 

"If you it's death you want, you're out of luck.. I won't let you die. But.. I guess you're right. I am an idiot, huh??" He said looking away from her

"We'll, I am rather a dunce too...I was the one who let my brother shoot himself right in front of my eyes without doing anything." Rasiel said at Xander's last comment.

"Xander, I'm not your puppet. I really never agreed for Humm to be my 'servant' or for you to protect me." She said quietly.

"Before I even was thrown into this game, if Karu didn't help me however, I would have already committed suicide because of my fathers death..." Rasiel said, her eyes turning to Xander.

He looked at her with a serious look. "I already told you, Rasiel. You're not a puppet!! I will keep you alive.. I won't control you. If you go fight, I go too.. I'm not your servant.. and I'm not your master. But if I let you die, Karu's death is for nothing.. you didn't let him shoot himself. He made a choice to save you. Even though that meant sacrificing himself.. I'm not your brother either.." He said looking away again.

 

"..never had siblings, I probably wouldn't make a very good one anyways." He smiled slightly for a second.

 

"The truth is Rasiel.. I protect you on my own accord.. even if you hate me" He said looking at her with a full grin. It was almost a little impudent

"Well, when you die Xander, it's not my fault so be careful." Rasiel said rather bluntly, giving him a rather sharp, but soft glare.

She looked up, rather disturbed by the terrorizing sounds of the fight still not so far away.

It was rather late, and this night, Rasiel won't be sleeping beside her brother for the first time in about 7 years (lol)

The voice of a guy below caught Ren's attention.  He was charging towards him with what appeared to be a pen and paper.  Then the guy stopped, and soon Ren realized why: his cyclone became stronger, as though the young man's image had impacted it.  A smile lit Ren's face as he nodded in appreciation.  "Thank you for that!  I'm not sure how you did it, but I believe it strengthened the tornado."  He considered the teen for a moment; he hated leaving him at the bottom of the tower in Kijiya's direct line of fire.  "Say, would you like a lift up?"

"Noted" He said, returning her glare with a soft smile.

 

It faded when he noticed her look up a bit disturbed

(Why i´m seeing me flying over the air right now.....O.o)

"No problem!" Locke said as he focused himself on the piece of paper, trying to hold the wind force, however even when the wind became stronger, just for the luck of them, the demon like creature deflected the wind just a little... but the enought time to avoid the tornado. Locke took another paper and started to draw something else... but then...that guy, the wind bender said something about a lift. 

 

"A lift up?? What do you mean?" He said getting a little worry about that phrase.... 

Allowing his twister to weaken slightly, Ren extended his right arm to the side, his palm facing downward.  A strong current blew upward, eventually bringing the lad with the pen and paper up with it.  Unfortunately, he didn't come up as smoothly as Ren would've liked, but right now wasn't the time for him to make smooth wind rides; he was just glad to have brought him to the top of the radio tower at all.  Ren extended a gloved hand out to help the newcomer up, his eyes unmoved from his cyclone below.  "My name is Ren Cabret," he introduced.  "And whom may I thank for aiding my cyclone's strength?"

Before he could react to, he just moved his hand channeling the wing towards... HIM. 

"He...hey wait just a- Wooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah !!!" 

Before he knew he was flying over the air, it took around a few seconds, when he realized he was on ground again over the radio tower, or better said on the high point of the tower. He turned back thinking for a moment... "He could give me a time for prepare!", but that doesn´t matter anymore. Then the guy started to talk, he was named Ren. 

"Ren? What a curious name." Locke thought for a moment.

"My name is Locke... Locke Stern. You almost give me a heartattack!... anyway, what´s going on?" 

Locke asked, he only knew a few things, but who was the demon like and what was Xi planning now? 

The blood of Isaac shed ont the upper chest Ember, solidifying into thorns once again. It was only a small amount of blood, though. His wound resealed as Isaac used his biokinesis to revert his wrist into its normal position, ultimately loosening Ember's grip for a split second. Isaac quickly backed up though, Ember scissor-kicking in descent and eventually kicking his chest. He grabbed her leg up and dropped her down just as the electric eel limbs wrapped around him. Ember fell atop the eels when from the side, Sylar came flying down. Isaac changed his arm to carbon in an instant, guarding against the attack. It was of equal force on both sides, the two recipients of the attack stable and still, neither overwhelming the other. Isaac had a surprised expression though. He coughed out blood directly onto Sylar's face, only dripping for now, and not stabbing. A black, large thorn came out Isaac, leaving a hole in his stomach. Joshua stood behind, his shadow reverting.

Ember rolled to the side and stood, Lupus helping her up. "Sorry for the sting, those hurt." Lupus apologized. Ember nodded, rubbing her arm where she had been electrocuted.

"It's fine." Ember spoke, walking back a bit. Sylar summoned his telekinesis to make his strngth supreme, pushing Isaac's arm out of the way. Then he realized Isaac was pretty much dead. He noticed Joshua standing behind him and smiled broadly.

"Good job mate! But I need to deal the final blow." Sylar used his telekinesis to slice the top of Isaac's skull off. Ember stood back a little grimacing,

"You're sick." She said to Sylar. Sylar turned and faced Ember.

"I wouldn't talk Ember and Lupus Mors, considering your history." Sylar said calmly, then burst into a maniacal grin. Ember stuck her tongue out at Sylar, to only receive crazy laughter as a response.
