(Some minor ground rules; respect other players, never simply give yourself an unfair advantage, mix things up if you wish, and given the nature of the secrets on the island, if you wish to have an enviornment described for you by me, simply end a post with your character looking upon an envionrment or opening a door and end with a "...")

So it begins.

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

...the game has begun."

(I'm not gonna post for a while and it takes more than 10 hours for me to online back so yeah, just consider that Hazimie has been sent to Xi for his new plans and Kijiya begins to go to another place for preparing his next move.Anyways,R.I.P. Hazimie.... )

"It was not an attack......BUT A SEAL?.....Damn.....DAMN YOU,Hazimie!!"Kijiya roared as he looking Hazimie corpse far away. Then,Kijiya lie down on the ground due to the effect of mummification that has been wrapped his legs and body now."So close.....So close....why...."Kijiya said as he tears with raged as the cloth begins to wrapped his arms and the only left was his face. Before he will being sealed,he asked Ren or others a final question."Tell me.....is it great.....to have a heart?"Kijiya said as with full of begging...

(One more post for Kijiya guys, all you have to do to him was just to comfort him,not attack him since he will being sealed. That's all....)

Neisan could handle the getting down part. That's what shock absorbers were for. He figured he should take somebody with him though. He grabbed Yumi and made a leap off the tower and down to the ground. His absorbers contracts, then fired, launching him forward and short distance, then stopped him on the second landing. Neisan set Yumi down. "A heart? Well, everybody has a heart. It keeps us alive, pumps the blood through our veins. I don't think emotions are from the heart. I think they come from the mind."

"Yes. It can be great. But other times it's a burden, to fill your sorrows with." A soft voice spoke behind Kijiya. A shadow slithered down to him. He was only there for a short bit, able enough to witness Kijiya's death, though. Seeing it was saddening in itself, knowing Kijiya in the first place wasn't necessary. Especially for someone like Joshua. After Neisan spoke, Joshua looked at Kijiya sadly. "Either way, it's a good thing to have. I'm sure Yumi and Fulmen know how it is to have a heart. A good one. I've seen both sides...a birth and a rebirth after death."

Simon reached Kijiya as he spoke his final words. "I guess you could say it's pretty nice. It's a pity you wouldn't be able to understand. The heart... Is like a flower. It starts out as a seed." A gray seed fell from his bracelet into his palm. He held it out. "And as we interact with people, it's nurtured." The seed began to bud. "Then it blossoms." The seed complied. "And blooms." The seed had finished growing. It was an exotic plant with a grey stem and turquoise petals. He closed his hand and it reverted to his seed form. "Wherever your going," he told Kijiya, taking hold of his arm. "Take your heart with you." He placed the seed in his hand.

Locke heard about Kijiya from Ren, but in that moment the tower was hit by one of the attacks of him. That caused Ren to lose control of his cyclone. Then the tower slowly began to cramble, as Ren said they needed to leave at once.

"Alright then... options?" locke said as he pulled out his notebook for the case. That was when something unexpected happened. A bunch of crystal shards appeared on the air surrounding Kijiya avoiding him to move. Then a portal appeared below , pulling him at it. It was like a "seal".

"just what´s going on here" Locke thought for a moment, looking at everyone face of shock.

Then as if the wind helped him to echoes his words....

"Tell me.....is it great.....to have a heart?"

Even if he don´t know him... he felt sorry for him... locke doesn´t know why... then he answered his question:

"A heart alongside a strong will help us keep going... no matter what." Locke said to him.

(If any of you guys didn't make it to say anything to Kijiya, you can still can....by talking at the crystal,lol...)

As Kijiya hears other's thoughts about the heart that he questioned,Kijiya then smirked."Heh....i'm envy of you guys.....that you have your own heart....funny......i'm feeling so.....Sleepy..."Kijiya said as his eyes have been closed and his face has been wrapped up.Then, the portal below him was gone and all the crystal shards gather and attach around him to his body, and thus,it became a Coffin with a crystal shaped and has a seal tag on it,written as 'A Seal that must not be awaken'.And so,Kijiya sleeps in there,forever....

(That's all for my Role....good luck on the RP,guys! :D )

Joshua stared down at the crystal for a few short seconds. (I didn't even know him....) he thought to himself. He looked at Simon and Neisan, (I don't know who they are either....) Joshua continued thinking. He past them, walking over to Fulmen and Yumi. "Yumi...Fulmen...you're both alright." He muttered. He grabbed one of Yumi's hands, and one of Fulmen's. Their hands...their warm, comforting hands of the living. It gave Joshua a feeling of comfort, safety, and warmth. Whereas Joshua's undead hands were cold and weak, sending a chill to the two. He had the faintest smile just to feel their warmth. "Yumi...Fulmen...I just wanted to say bye before I left again."

"Everything is quiet..." Rasiel said, looking up from her game.

She climbed down from the branch and was now sitting beside Xander.

"I want to go back...I want to help the others...I can still fight..." she complaint.

(Ack, sorry, Hazimie!  Definitely would've wanted to be there for Kijiya.  Hopefully this post will suffice.)

The tower shook menacingly.  Neisan had snatched Yumi and leapt off the side, leaving Fulmen and Locke to remain on the diminishing tower.  Ren used the remaining ounces of his wind to bring them to safety, where he watched a bizarre and surreal scene: Kijiya's transformation to a human, where he remained on the ground as cloth began to mummify him.  Mouth parted in awe, Ren stood paralyzed on the spot; his fists clenched tightly to his sides.  Kijiya did indeed try to harm them, though he understood why.  He was desperate, for nothing greater than a heart.  Something that anyone in their right mind would die--or kill--for.  Ren cautiously stepped towards Kijiya, resting a hand gently on his enclosed arm.  "But you see, Kijiya," Ren whispered, "you weren't heartless.  If you were, you wouldn't desire a heart at all.  You were only stopped by the very barriers of your beliefs.  In time, you would've learned to feel and love; I'm certain of it."

Ren bowed his head low, closing his eyes as a tremor of sorrow washed over him.  "Rest in peace now, my friend.  Let your dreams find you happiness and the emotions you desired.  Feelings...and love."

Yumi was confused. She had been picked up and brought down in more than one sense. What truly got her out of her confused state was a hand. A cold hand. Then she heard Joshua words. "Your leaving? Joshua...your hand is to cold. Your dead aren't you,who did it...and who brought you back?" She asked.

She knew she was asking to much, but she had to. The words she said had shocked her. 'Dead' wasn't a word you tossed around freely. Yet,the coldness of his hand said the truth for her. It was the worst.

A tear rolled down Joshua's cheek and onto the ground, leaving a wet mark on the floor. Another one hit. And another. Joshua was crying already— silently, without any sounds of sobbing. Only the tears themselves were the proof of his cries. "I did it, Yumi. I let Sylar kill me so he wouldn't come to hurt anyone else. Not you, Fulmen, Rasiel, or anyone. But when someone...Isaac...brought me back...Sylar broke the deal. I hope he hasn't hurt you." Behind his tears, Joshua gave a faint smile as his cold hand was warmed by Yumi's hand of the living. "I'm going to leave again. I can't handle it. It hurts, Yumi. Everything hurts. And it's cold...always...I'm hungry...thirsty...I can't live." Joshua's smile quickly turned to a faint frown of sadness as Joshua let go of Yumi's hand. His warmth froze into chilled and decayed feelings. He turned completely cold again. "Tell Rasiel and Xander I said bye too...okay?"

It had gotten quiet. Kijiya was dead-- only a crystal remained to signify he was ever there. But now, even Joshua was dying...again. His hand was cold. Too cold, for a normal person to live.

"We will." He finally said, having let Joshua and Yumi ride through the conversation. Awkward moments and sad times are not the best for Fulmen: he never knows what to say. "Thank you, Joshua. We'll miss you."

"Ya.." He said looking out in the direction of the battle. "I can sense somethings happened.. not sure if it's good or bad, but.. " He got off the branch, staying afloat with his telekin, and turned around to face Rasiel

"Let's Go" He said holding out a hand to her

"I can still fight too" He remarked to her last comment with a smirk

Xander had remained strong, even though it seemed like Rasiel couldn't care less about him. But he felt like his smile was wearing thin.. but he didn't give up. He continued smiling at Rasiel, even when it seemed like she disliked him for trying to protect her

[Could she really dislike me so much for caring about her?? Or maybe.. she just dislikes herself..?? What would you do Karu??] He thought as he held out a hand to Rasiel. He was staring at Rasiel, absent minded. His face was blank

(Rasiel-Karu=Tsundere Rasiel)

Rasiel took Xander's hand, bowing her head slightly.

"I know you can still fight...you just got hurt earlier..." She said rather bluntly.

(Writers.Block)

"But.. I'm ok now thanks to you and Joshua.." He smiled. It was a real smile. ".. even Sylar had to help I guess. Ha ha."

He started descending with Rasiel slowly. He carried them both with his telekinesis

"Well, we're all in one piece, mostly. Just give me a minute to tinker with my suit. I may be able to fix my jet, but I'm missing a piece. Hey, Locke! Can you draw me an open ended cone, about five inches in diameter. Here, it should match this one." Neisan walked over to Locke and turned around to show him the unbroken right wing.

Lupus looked to the unconscious Ember, remembering the many little pranks her little sister had performed upon her. A slight malicious grin crossed her lips, and turned back to Sikota. "Oh, she won't mind a bit." Lupus said. Her eyes turned to the new crystal behind Sikota. "Wasn't that crystal a demon a second ago?" She said, confused.

Sylar smiled at Him. "Peace. Though for some reason, I feel a darkness around the corner. One too great for those lightweights." Sylar said, sensing something bad right around the corner. "Of course, with you and I chained like this, there is no hope for them. Ah, despair." He finished, now turning the conversation in his favor, trying to get himself free.

Finally thanks to Ren, Locke reached the base of the tower. His first thought:

"Land!!!"

Yes. A little ironical. The he turned to Ren saying:

"Please.. next time just tell me before launching me up to air. hehehe" Then someone else asked for something, a guy with black messy spiky hair... he asked me about drawing a part he needed, so...

"Sure. Give me a moment.... eh.... and you are?"

The radio tower split into two the upper half hit the ground with a powerful thud. The stress it had been put under during the battle seemed too much.

"Congratulations. Perhaps that is not quite the fitting word, but you understand; you've taken yet another step towards the end of the Experiment. Only one more thing remains. Before that though, there's one final message you are to hear.

The radio tower suddenly burst out with sound. Speakers attached to it began to play a recording, even in the wrecked state that the radio tower was in.

"T-this is log 46 of the Project Ascension audio log series. Prof- professor Degin here. This is going to be the last log I make. I don't... I don't even know who will find this. Ascension is done. It's gone. We made a mistake. We... underestimated them. We underestimated him. As you know from the previous logs, we found two suitable subjects.

Subject One- Thomas Yaerick, ability; superhuman cognitive ability. In terms of understanding, planning, anticipating- he was maybe the most intelligent person we've ever met. He could craft a machine or made a foolproof plan in seconds. It was... inspiring. Then we had... Subject Two- Phillip Yaerick, his brother. His nickname was... was Fi. His ability was extreme observational empathy. His observational skills were astute, and he could often tell if somebody was lying within seconds, he could tell if someone was concerned, angry, sad, you name it. More than that, he could understand their feelings. It should be obvious why we pursued them as our initial subjects. Phillip was 13, Thomas was 19.

The two were street orphans, but incredibly good at making money, often through theft we assume, which is how we discovered them. We approached Thomas several times and explained our position, explained the nature of his abilities, the nature of him and his brother. We tried to convince him to come willingly. He was too smart to capture, even with our capabilities.

Eventually we promised a fully paid education for his brother and himself, along with housing and lump sum of cash in exchange for co-operation. We lied. We assembled 20 agents, headed by Tompson and Frederick. We were planning to abduct them. It was the only way! It was the only- it doesn't matter now anyway. We don't need to justify anything. Our fate has already been decided. The meeting went bad, the agents had orders to terminate if the two tried to escape, and Thomas discovered our intentions with Phillip's help and they ran. The agents kill Phillip. After a short conversation, Thomas left his brother, who died quite soon after. We never found Thomas.

Thomas found us. Agent Tompson was at his home when he was locked inside and the house was lit on fire. Frederick was in the Task Force headquarters- we don't even know how Thomas, got in. Frederick had a broken knee, and two shots to the head- from his own weapon- when we found him. Three days later the headquarters was bombed, killing several other agents. Luckily my lab was elsewhere. Yesterday I got the call from him. I had met Thomas once before, I knew his voice. He was... sad. I don't know how else to describe him. He asked why... why we did it. I told him how we dreamed of making a world where we might use people like him to make the world a better place. His retort was, if I recall, 'Like you used my brother, and then tossed him in the garbage when you were done.' I should have known better. He told me to take a day to finish everything I needed to, that I shouldn't try to get police protection or anything, because he'd get me either way. I'm smart enough to know that he was telling the truth. So... this is it. I'm the last one I think. Everyone else from Ascension is either dead or left after the killing of Phillip. The project is dead. We won't be able to do anything to get a hold of these people any longer. If you are listening to this, you can start again, these people can become tools for us, a new technology we can harness to quell rebellion, and move the world forward, like they have done for so long without our knowledge.

I think I've only got maybe an hour left. This is... Professor Degin. Signing off. B- by the way. If you ever come across Thomas Yaerick, beware. I don't know what he wants, but what he's been through... Phillip was everything to him. He's been collecting our records. Specifically our notes on all other possible subjects. Whatever he is planning...just be careful. Goodbye."

"Degin" Xi began "was a scientifically-obsessed bastard. His work is now over. The Experiment seems to have been a success. It's good you all made it this far. There's one more thing though."

The whole ground around the radio tower shook and suddenly the ground right beneath the radio tower began to move, separating in two different directions. Everyone was standing on a huge metal flooring that only had the appearance of natural ground. The metal sheets folded underneath each other. The radio tower crumbled into the huge gaping hole that was left. Suddenly something underground moved upward, like a huge elevator was lifting it up. An huge airstrip raised from below the island and up through the hole. It raised up past the trees, several meters up. Then the movement stopped. Where the radio tower once was was now a huge airstrip raised up from the ground. A way out. A single set of stairs shot out towards the remaining participants, inviting them onto the airstrip.

A small case also rose from the ground. A glass case where a extremely well-crafted suit of armor lay. Neisan's...

"The final test will be the toughest challenge you've faced yet."

Xi paused.

"Or perhaps you could say... a perfect replica of it."

Edited by MDSVeritas

Sylar and the shadowy figure were trapped underground, still bound by chains. "Seems you were right. They are in trouble now." He started pulling. "Guess I'll just have to free us as fast as I can."

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Sikota appeared above Humm and smashed his draconic into the ground, he dissolved into a turquoise aura and was absorbed into Sikota's arm. "The last of the pieces." He turned to face those who thought they were his friends. "You're going to need all the help you can get." He flapped his wings and he flew back, scattering healing feathers over his opponents and landing on top of Neisan's armor's case. "Come and get it!"

Fulmen blinked. It was a massive, foreboding ship. It also, might just be they way off this hell-hole of an island. Fulmen wanted to leave badly. He was weary, sweaty, and about to collapse from the pent-up stress and exhaustion.

He looked to Yumi first, then to everyone else. "So..." He finally said, "Do we board it?"

Ren nodded in response to Locke's statement.  "Yes, yes; my apologies.  I will warn you before lifting you in the air next time--if there's enough time."  The redhead didn't elaborate when the radio tower crumbled into a heaping pile of ruin, which Xi's voice rang out from.  It pierced their air, initially causing Ren to leap back and grit his teeth.  He presented a recording from a former scientist, Professor Degin--a man insignificant to him.  It was shortly thereafter that the ground began to tremble, its plates splitting apart to reveal a large opening in the ground where the radio tower once stood.  Something rose from the ground.  It took a moment for Ren to identify it: an airstrip.  And stairs leading up to it.  Many of them.

The redhead whirled around, facing Neisan, Fulmen, and Locke in turn.  Shrugging slightly, he shifted his gaze onto Locke and said, "Shall we?"

He took a few steps forward, though he dared not climb the staircase alone.  Who knew what awaited them on that airstrip--and he didn't want to be alone to find out.

Edited by Mystics Apprentice

First Neisan gaped at the movement of the ground. The machinery required for that would be incredible! Then he gaped as his suit. About time! Lastly he gaped at Sikota, who had jumped on top of the glass case. "What do you mean, come and get it? That's what I was going to do anyway! Just step off the case so I can get to my suit. And what do you mean, we're going to need all the help we can get?"

Joshua stood at the edge. Right about to respond to Fulmen, the radio tower began a recording-- a massive sound. (Stay safe, Yumi. Stay safe, Fulmen. Xander...look out for Rasiel.) Joshua thought to himself. In an instant, he vanished into the shadow, travelling further up the radio tower in a shadowy blob that flew across the area. He stood at the very top, balancing with his shadow. "Here it is." He said to himself rather quietly, he gave a soft smile, looking up. (Xander...if you betray Rasiel...I swear I'll haunt you.) He laughed for a few moments, looking back down. His fear of heights was abolished at this point. Not that it mattered. He began murmuring to himself."My name is Joshua Akira. I lived in a nice house-- I had wonderful parents, an incredible family, a satisfactory life. I'm eleven now, I should be turning twelve in only a few weeks. I usually lived in shyness and fear from everything, even my eyes and hair matted down sadly throughout everything. But still, my innocence drew people to me, whether I wanted them to or not. I was always avoiding other people, aside from my parents, of course. Most people would say it was a really lonely life. I wouldn't argue. Some people aren't very nice, but I'm kind to them anyway. Most people I've met are indolent and arrogant. they're delinquents. So I've had a secret grudge against a lot of people. When my parents died, I felt like I couldn't live anymore. All my belonging-- my entire home was consumed in flames as my parents died and my family never came for me. I regret not getting to know them more. But still... I might not have been any better now. I lived alone for a short while. Then I ended up here, on this island. I don't know how, I just did one day. I met some nice people-- even someone like Hazimie, who abandoned me but was at least able to apologize later. Robert...I haven't seen him in a while. But he was a good friend. Rasiel and Karu were closer then anyone I've met in a long time, they really were what a family should be. Xander was pretty ecstatic, he was a good person to know. Fulmen and Yumi were both really nice, but I didn't get to know Fulmen all too well. When I died, I was almost happy I was gone from this world. That's not the reason I was happy though. I got the privilege to know Rasiel and the others would be alright after I died. When I was reborn, all I wanted to do is kill myself. It was cold. It hurt. Like someone shooting me every millisecond of the day. I hated it. Which is all why I'm here now. I guess what I'm trying to say is 'Bye'. It's a short life to some, but this is all I really need. If I had to favorite the people I knew here, it'd be Yumi and Rasiel. After my parents, they were the closest to me. I guess you could say they were both the first two people I've ever gotten to really...loving. Maybe. I don't know what 'love' is. But I guess they both do. So...I only have one last thing to say now."Joshua sighed deeply. The shadow beneath him vanished and reverted normally. He fell back, at the mercy of air and gravity, falling down, gradually accelerating downwards to the ground below. Ready to fall, ready to die for good. All of this was a mere...suicidal goodbye speech. Joshua was nearing the ground. He fell down, a bloody mess splurging out for a moment as he finally died. He uttered his last words at the final moment."Goodbye everyone. Thanks for everything...or maybe even nothing. Farewell."
