So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

In the temple candles illuminated the hallway downward. Far enough down, beyond what anyone in the entry room could see, was a strangely unnatural thing in a temple; an automated door. Where it led too... that would have to found out.

The practice dummy took a last-ditch effort to take down Luce and Ember, firing two consecutive shots that homed in on the two.

"Hmm?" Karu looked at Fulmen before looking at Yumi.

"You pushed him too hard Yumi, do whatever you can to help him. He trust you." Karu said about Fulmen, knowing that he will pass out soon because of Karu's empathy.

Rasiel arrived to where Xavier lay.

"Hey! Thanks for slowing my fall! So get up so I can thank you properly." She snapped, kicking Xavier's head.

Xander had actually been dreaming while unconscious in the tree

It was a good dream, he was back home. His mom was making his favorite food, his dad was sitting in his chair with the newspaper

It made a change for the worst, however, when suddenly a strange demon girl busted through the window and kicked him in the head!!

 

"Ow!!" Xander yelped as he came to realize upon waking very suddenly that his dream was partly real, and the pain he felt from the kick was very real

 

But he didn't have much time to think about the pain because the kick caused him to slip off the branch

 

He threw out his arms to brace for impact when something happened that had never happened before..

He began to slow down his own fall, like if he was catching himself

 

When he was safely on the ground he forgot about the pain momentarily, too stunned by what he had just done

 

The pain sunk in once again, his head hurt from the kick, but it was nowhere near as bad as the blow Crow had dealt him

 

"What kind of thanks is that????" He questioned Rasiel as he tried to wipe dry blood off his face, which was not successful

Crow burst out of the lake, dispersing more water than his size would imply. Hovering in the air, he pointed to Yumi, "take good care of Bolt Boy!" He shouted "Be sure he recovers quickly cuz I've got a score to settle now! And I'll make sure you'll be there to watch his grueling death!" He flew off. Just imagining the combinations of fear, anguish, and rage all over that pretty face made him laugh with anticipation.

"You were asleep...I can't thank you if you're asleep." Rasiel stated, turning back into her human form.

"Are you okay? Sorry I made you bleed. Thanks for saving my fall." she said a bit childishly.

"Can you help Karu? If you do I'll help you. We need to find a place to rest." Rasiel said seriously.

Ember rolled under the two projectiles and called to Luce. "Deal with the projectiles, I'll kill the dummy!" she yelled, throwing up a wall behind her to keep the projectiles from homing on her. She ran to the dummy, flipped over it, and touched her hand to the remaining cannon, and focused on air. She put all of her power into turning the cannon, and hopefully the rest of the dummy into air.

Fulmen frowned. Even with his mind in a hazy mess, the thought of Crow pierced through the haze.

Do not be so cocky. Fulmen thought, looking down at the wet sand around him. You shouldn't fool around with...electricty... Fulmen wobbled a bit as he stepped back, the sand sliding beneath his foot as he collapsed.

He had fainted from the amount of energy he had used; now unconscious before Yumi...and a what once was a lake.

"Alright, time to see if this works."  Ren turned to Tsuna, offering her an apologetic look.  "Normally I'd experiment on something other than humans, but right now we're running out of time.  I'm going to send you through that opening in the wall first, okay? Just look straight ahead, not down, alright?  I'll do my best to get you landed softly."

 

Without awaiting a response, Ren extended his palms and in a gust of fresh wind, propelled Tsuna off the ground.  She twirled and fluttered in the air, gliding gracefully out of the fresh opening in the corner of the room.  After a moment, Ren lowered his hands, allowing the wind to dissipate once he thought  Tsuna was likely near the ground.  He turned to Kilek and nodded.  "Your turn.  Get ready."  Again Ren repeated the process, sending Kilek through the opening as well.  He hesitated upon turning to Neisan, sizing him up.

 

"You're going to be a little more difficult," he admitted.  "But I'll try my best."  Quickly he sent a whirlwind through the air, scooping Neisan high up in the air.  Holding his breath, he could only watch anxiously as Neisan reached the room's opening...

"Heh, heh, you're welcome" Xander said smiling a bit awkwardly

 

"I'm fine, don't worry about the blood, it's from the punch that bird-guy threw me"

 

"And sure, do you need me to carry him??" Xander asked seriously

 

[Where are the others?? And where did that winged monster go??]

(Ok... I read All of it....9 Sorry for not being here for all the past week. Too much work) 

 

Locke was dragged at the jeep, In one moment after another, we all reached the the ruins... but then all became confusion. When I wake up, I was on the enrance of the ruins. A little far away I could hear a familiar voice... Xander? i get up ... i was in middle of the grass... Why? maybe something hit on me in the movement... so... 

I checked my bag looking at all my material. If i lost something, paper or pen, i´ll be in a lot of trouble. Fortunately all of it was there. Then I walked out at Xander and the others there. 

 

"Hey! Are you alright?" Locke asked to them. 

Tsuna felt awkward gliding in the air, maybe she's best sticking to the ground. When she was a few inches from the ground. The wind keeping her aloft suddenly disappeared and she landed on her feet, kinda staggering a little to regain her balance. Outside she could see the wrecking balls Xi has mentioned and the warehouse in bad condition, ready to collapse any second. Oh Ren, she thought watching Kilek come out after her, hurry and get you and Neisan out of there.

Yumi glared at Crow as e flew away. "I'll get you off that." She said and bent down next to Fulmen.

"Fully,rest." She whispered.

She picked him up. "I need to heal him." She thought.

The dummy evaporated with Ember's touch. The test had ended. On the far side of the room the far door opened, revealing the next chamber, which was mostly barren if not for a few tables with rations and bandages on them.  The chamber connected to some other room on the far side. In the center of the room was a metallic slab that a man was sleeping on. Isaac...

The lake had fully evaporated  due to Fulmen's energy attack. None of the water remained... and its absence revealed a small bunker that rose out of the lakebed. A single door on the end of it. Due to Robert, the temple's doors had collapsed, leaving the lakebed as the only remaining  destination for the jungle group...

"No...you might need to carry someone else later. He has a wound on his hand. I can't let anything else bad happen to him. He is my brother. Thank you Xavier." Rasiel shook her head.

"Now..." she said, turning into her stuffed rabbit form and hopping onto Xavier's head.

"Go." she snapped.

Suddenly she saw Locke.

"Locke. You're back. Fallow us." she said simply.

Yumi saw the bunker. She sighed and walked to the edge of the lake. "Oh..boy." She said slowly.

She stepped down into the dry lake. "Fully,you can rest." She whispered to him and walked over to the door.

"Can I just open it..or is it trapped.." She asked herself. Slowly she touched the door an'...

(We get Isaac? Unfair, we're the weakest ones!)

 

Confused, Ember gestured for Luce to come along. She moved closer to the chamber, and the sleeping man. Perplexed, Ember reached out and touched the man.

 

(short post, I'm lame )

"Hey, Locke, I'm ok, just got a little headache" He said grinning as he looked up at the little rabbit on top of his head

"But Karu is injured. Let's go check on him!!" Xander said to Locke

 

"Rasiel, can you direct me to where he is??"

"Go north and you will see a dried-up lake. He should be around there." Rasiel directed, getting rather bored.

Alright! Locke said while pulling out his notebook. As he could, he began to draw a medical kit... he followed Xander, looking for a dried lake nearby. When they reached the place, he already finished drawing making appear the medical kit. 

"sorry it´s not the best one... I did what I can" he said to Xander reaching Yumi and Fulmen. 

"I..can I have that.." Yumi asked.

"Fully,passed out and there's a few things in there I need." She said.

"Nothing seemed to happen." She thought.

"There he is, and the others too"

 

"Rasiel, check if your brother is conscious" He set her on the ground

 

"Yumi, is Fulmen ok??" Xander asked Yumi while on his way to check on Karu

"Here! take it!" Locke said while giving Yumi the medical kit. 

"It will last for 4 minutes so use what it´s inside before it dissapears." He said while looking at Fulmen unconciousness.

"Do you need something else?" He asked her. 

Slowly she touched the door an'...

 

opened into a small medical room. There were three beds that lined the walls and a shelf filled with simple medical supplies. Across from the entrance were two seemingly-identical doors.

 

A familiar voices chimed in the earpeices of all those around the lake and in the jungle nearby.

 

"Treat your friends. When you are ready, split your group among the two doors. They lead to the same place, but through very different means."

Slowly she touched the door an'...

 

opened into a small medical room. There were three beds that lined the walls and a shelf filled with simple medical supplies. Across from the entrance were two seemingly-identical doors.

 

A familiar voices chimed in the earpeices of all those around the lake and in the jungle nearby.

 

"Treat your friends. When you are ready, split your group among the two doors. They lead to the same place, but through very different means."

(Smells like trap, everyword.... )

Locke heard the voice on the air. 

"Xi" He said while looking at Yumi. 

"We need to move him, thinyou can do it?" he said but then i remembered...

"Hey Xander... you can lift things right? Think you can do it with him?" 

"He is consious...it was just a gash on his hand..." Rasiel said after changeing back to her human form.

She then recived the message.

"Come on! Thanks Yumi!" Rasiel said, grabbing Xavier and Karu's uninjured hand, she ran into the room Yumi found.

Sitting Karu on the bed and letting go of Xavier she sighed, scanning the shelves, finding the medical tape to wrap wounds up with.

She hopped over, looking up at the shelf that was an obstacle for her.

"Xavier...can you get the medical tape for my Karu?" she asked, walking over and sitting beside Karu on one of the beds.

"I am really tierd..." she said quietly only for Karu to hear.

"If we can, we will rest until Fulmen awakes, okay?" he said kindly.
