So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

"Inset twins?!?" Rasiel complained, transforming into her human form but yet she was still trapped.

"Let me goooo!" she compained.

Karu stared at Skylar.

"Okay, okay we wont interfere with any more fights....at least let me out, I don't have anything to fight with usually....and I don't." Karu answered even thou he had plenty of stuff.

"Dont let Karu go! Let me go!" Rasiel complained.

Karu gave Rasiel are sharp glare from the distance.

(once again: dang, girl.)As soon as Joshua was flung backwards by Sylar's telekinetic, he his shadow gloomed behind him and stopped him from continuing further. After, several shadowy arms reached out to bring Karu and Rasiel back together. (Sylar again....) Joshua thought irritatingly. He covered Rasiel and Karu over with a shadow again and sent several blades of darkness to Sylar.

(Why not? Fine, I'll edit my post to say he broke down the wall.)

[This guy.. no doubt he's a telekinetic.. but there's no way to know for sure how different his may be compared to mine] Xander thought before Sylar attacked him

 

Then he saw him throw his hand out, he could feel the attach, it was sharp like a sword, and fast

 

He quickly crossed his arms, creating a sheild covering most of his front

 

He felt the sword splinter as it crashed into his shield, nearly shattering it. The force made him slide back, but it didn't knock him off his feet

 

"Rgh"

 

[He feels stronger than me.. but I can't give up]

Robert could barely take in evorything that was happening. So far, nobody seemed to notice him. That was about to change. 

 

[Who would've thought that two people could do so much damage.] he thought, and snuck behind Sylar, who was having some sort of mentle battle with Xander. He then roundhouse kicked him in the back of the head, sending him to the floor.

 

"Xander, hit him now!" he shouted.

 

(By the way, here's a little music that I think fits the mood well.)

Hazimie then evades the attack from Sylar as he then chased him when he tries to kill other people."Music Pillars of Melodia!"Hazimie said as he cast pillars around him in order for not moving further."Joshua,Robert,everyone,hold it!leave now!i'll take care of him..."Hazimie said as he giving them and the others to escape."You can't escape....This pillar will be your prison....if you want to escape and kill them,then try kill me instead...it's the only thing to escape of this prison..."Hazimie said to Sylar as he wants to fight him one-on-one to death in order to kill some time for people to escape from him...

"Heheheheh, hahahaha, HAHAHAHAHAgh-" Crow froze before he could finally crush Fulmen's skull, tears formed in his eyes. His voice struggled to control itself. "Wha- What..."

 

A veil of dark feathers was removed, Crow was gone, Robin in his place. She stepped back, horrified. She fell to her hands and knees. "Why... why did I do this? WHY!?" Tears dripped from her face to the ground. "Yumi..." She started. "Please... end me. I don't deserve to live anymore. Not after what I just did. Please."

(Yuffie, you can reply and counter whenever, but I'm gonna go ahead and post cause Xig's music is getting me pumped. Sorry)

 

[so, he got my message] Xander thought when he saw Robert

 

He threw his arm straight up into the air, forming a large telekinetic hammer

 

"Move, Robert!!" He called just before throwing down his arm in a karate chop motion, bringing down the hammer as well

(Sorry for the wait everybody, I'm back now. I want to go over some general house rules to make sure this RP stays approachable; watch your posting speed most of all. This is especially true with battles that involve multiple battles. I'm not instituting any actual rules for how much you can do with such battles, but try to give everybody a fair chance to act before too much happens in a battle they're involved with. In any case, it's time to settle down this free-for-all.)

Crow had reverted back, now all that was left was Sylar's exit, there had been enough chaos for right now.

 

"Behind you," The voice suddenly filled the earpiece in Sylar's ear "there is a patch of grass that is oddly colored." Behind Sylar was a single square plot about 3 feet by 3 feet with brown dead grass in a sea of green. "I'm sure facing everyone right now is not your optimal situation, step onto that panel and I shall assure you will be taken from this area and given the chance to have a more... personal encounter with these people very soon. Take my offer or leave it, but these people are not to be underestimated, and I'm sure you long for the powers they've been showcasing."

 

The two separate doors inside the now-broken bunker still stood, what lay beyond there was still unknown.

Neisan walked to the shed and opened the door. He saw. . .

 

An old small shed interior, cobwebs hanging from the corners of the room and the walls looking chipped and aged. There was unnaturally modern light fixtures placed about the shed, however. In the center of the shed were a few medical supplies, including splints, gauze, and several tools useful for setting broken limbs. In the corner of the room, well illuminated, was an elderly woman. Not once since they woke up had Xi supplied them with another member, but here one was.

 

"Meet Lira."

 

Xi did not tell them, but for Tsuna, Ren, Neisan, and Kilek, the next test had just begun.

Isaac now stood as the last impediment to Luce and Ember's progress. What the final confrontation would entail... that was about to be decided.

Sylar dodged the blades of darkness then reached out and froze them. "You'll never learn will you my umbrakinetic friend." Sylar spoke, sending the shadow blades back at Joshua. While he was doing this, Robert's kick struck him by surprise. Sylar fell to the ground while Xander's telekinetic hammer threatened to crush him. Instantaeously, Sylar reached out a hand, creating a telekinetic shield. He stood back up and dustsd himself off. "Nice to see you as well Robert." Sylar said, before sending out his shield like an explosive force. Then he heard the voice in his earpiece. "Well, I can tell you're not completely lying Mr. Mysterio. So I'll take you up on that offer." Sylar said to Xi, stepping backwards into the square of grass.

Ember made a face at Isaac. "You realize how creepy what you just did is, right?" Ember said, gripping her staff tighter with nervousness. "I don't suppose you'd be willing to reconsider not dissecting us, and letting us go?" Ember continued hopefully. She was stalling, hoping that Luce would get his sorry butt over here before she had to face this guy by herself. Theoretically, together they could take this guy.

Tsuna walked into the shed and saw the old woman sitting in the corner. She cocked her head to one side with a questionable look. Lira.....there's other people on this island besides us?, she thought and just looked at her before turning to the medical supplies sitting at the middle in the room. Tsuna grazed her fingers on the items then frowned. "So...anybody know how to use these things?" she asked turning back to look at the others. If this woman, Lira, was in here with these supplies then she has to have some kind of experience with them...right, she thought 

Yumi shook her head."...Why'd you do it? Let us out now...he's...he's hurt!" She screamed.

She held Fulmen close to her."I can't move him around." She said.

She sighed. "I need to keep him still." She said.

"JUST KILL ME ALREADY!" Robin demanded. "The wind will die with me. Kill me and move on. I don't want to cause anymore harm..." She was weeping at this point.

Joshua quickly sliced the frozen shadow of his with others, reverting his shadow to normal as Sylar ceased attacking and fled. Afterwards, he ran and returned to Rasiel and Karu. "Sorry, Rasiel, Karu, I guess Sylar wanted to attack me again." Joshua said with a slight sarcasm in his voice. He continued healing them both though, rather than just Karu.

 

Isaac scoffed. "Admittedly, I definitely didn't foresee a giant mutant human-crow chimera coming to try and kil me, but I suppose it's just a minor setback." Isaac said rather calmly, as color started to return to him as his blood did. "Now then. Where did we leave off?" Isaac began to stroll forward to Ember with his daggers, as he fixed his lab coat which was a little tarnished from Crow. "Ah, I think I remember." He grabbed Ember's staff and attempted to pull it over him, flipping Ember. But instead, he brought it up halfways and flipped Ember back the other way with a pull. He lifted Ember's shirt to her stomach again and placed his skinning knife to her. "Yes. Where shall I start to skin?"

 

Lira glanced back at Tsuna. "In need of medical assistance?" She asked Tsuna, after standing around by it for a short while.

Yumi laid Fulmen down. "Okay..fine." She said slowly.

She sighed. "Okay,I'll do it to please you." She said slowly.

She sighed and and waved her hands left then right. "I'm drying your blood..it's quick..that..is..well,maybe." Yumi wasn't very sure about her powers.

The platform that Sylar stood on suddenly rocketed underground. In a moment a metal plate slide over the opening, sealing it. Sylar, now on the platform, continued to descend into the underground areas of the island. He continued to drop down for a ridiculously large amount of time until the platform slowed its descent  and suddenly moved forward into a pitch-black rail system. There was no light and thus no way to know where he was going, but it was certain the Sylar was moving on the platform. With another turn the platform moved toward a faint light.

 

The platform stopped.

 

In front of Sylar, somwhere deep in the bowels of the island's underground, was a faint light source, and, in front of it, a shadowed figure. A panel of glass seperated Sylar from the figure.

 

"I have forgotten to introduce myself. Welcome to my experiment, Sylar, call me Xi." The figure stepped forward a bit. The two seemed to be situated in the same room that the platform had brought Sylar to, with the glass in the center. The room was small, and barely visible.

 

"This is my experiment, and be assured, you are but a cog. Regardless of your status, I don't wish to deny you your fun, in fact, I encourage it. These people you have met... they will be tested. And you will help me. In return, I will help you."

 

"I need you only to think of this as a hunting reserve, it is to you to claim your trophies. I will do the rest."

"We do. We have a a group member with a broken bone. Can you set it?" Neisan eyed the old women, curious but also cautious. He knew not to trust a person until they had fought together or something like that. "Once we have stood together on the field of battle, then I will trust you," he thought. He partially primed his weapons, not enough to alarm anybody, but just enough that they could be ready at a moment's notice.

Robin felt her body give way. A smile was etched on her teary face as she said her last words. They were unheard however as her body burst into a flurry of glowing blue feathers, all but one dissipating into the air. This lone remaining feather slowly fell onto Fulmen's shoulder. The last remnant of her short lived love.

A lone shadowy figure stood atop the radio tower. The red light ceased to glow on and off. The figure placed a hand over its chest and whispered something to itself.

 

(wether not these two scenes are related is yet to be seen)

(RIP Robin)

"Eh....?" Fulmen muttered, his eyes batting open as he looked around. Crow was gone. So was the wind barrier and him and Yumi-- and Fulmen smiled as he looked to her, coughing once.

"Gah...my throat hurts...what happened?" Fulmen asked, sitting straight. At that he noticed the feather. A feather? Where'd this come from? Fulmen thought, picking up the feather to stare at it.

(Oh yeah, the wind is gone with Robin)

"Crow was Robin and I...killed her." Yumi said slowly.

"Keep...safe from now on." She said.

"Also. Your staying with me from now on." She told him.

"Oh." Fulmen replied, staring at the feather for a few more moments before gently placing it into his pants pocket. "But after these recent events, I won't mind sticking around with you, I guess." Fulmen said, standing back up. He wobbled a bit-- again his usage of power and lack of air took it's toll. However, it seemed he fared better this time around.

Perhaps I'm finally getting the hang of this. Fulmen thought, a small smile coming to his face.
