So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Sikota threw up a vacuum well, deflecting Neisan's assault. Before he could block Ren's attack, the tip of the Wingblade sparked. The final chains snapped. A column of flame shot into the sky around Sikota, blowing everyone else away. There, the shadowy figure stood, silhouetted against his flames.

 

"Who the hell are you?" Sikota asked.

 

The shadowy figure's eyes opened, revealing golden irises. "You could say..." He appeared in front of Sikota "that I'm hell's incarnate, myself." He hoisted up Sikota by his neck. The flames died away. the shadowy figure's appearance was revealed! Dressed in fitted pants, a leather vest. His maroon hair tufted in two places near the top. His golden eyes. A single scarlet wing extending from his shoulder blade. "Or you could say." The Sikota Replica burst into flames. "I'm your origin." He looked to the sky. "Listen here, Xi! I said I'd be back soon enough. 'Cept you got a phoenix to deal with instead of little owl!"

 

 

Rasiel was immediately filled with fear at the sight of a new foe, one that just gabbed Sikota by the neck.

"Karu2, prepare to attack!" she called to him, flying a bit farter into the air.

Karu2 fallowed Rasiel, electrifying a Techno Sphere in his hand.

Xi laughed. It wasn't transmitted to any earpieces, but he laughed. So, the little angelic lover-boy was more than just target practice. Incredible. Somehow he had used his powers for... a sort of resurrection. This was too perfect. It was too amazing. Xi had expected certain results from the Experiment, but this...

 

"Good to have you back..." the voice rang out in every earpeice.

 

"...Sikota."

 

The real one this time.

 

"So you took down my perfect little pawn... Impressive." Xi was truly impressed. This was... more than he had hoped for.

 

"It seems like your friends have yet to take you for an ally though. You may want to get to that."

"I can understand that. There's been a number of me at this point." He pointed to Ren. "Hey, Ren, that Wingblade, the on in your hand." He flexed his one wing. The Wingblade turned from brown to scarlet. "Do you accept me as the real one?"

Neisan watched in shock as a pillar of flame engulfed the Sikota imposter, then another figure revealed itself. It looked like. . . Sikota, but all fiery and missing a wing. Another Sikota? ANOTHER SIKOTA?! No. This is stupid. No more. Neisan jetted over to the new Sikota. "Hey, you! Who the *explitive* do you think you are!?!? Waddaya mean, origin?! Good to have you back!? You're full of it, Xi! I am sick and tired of having a bunch of bird-brained mutants thrown at me! Don't you get it, Xi? It doesn't surprise us anymore!! Leave off!" With that, Neisan shoved the Phoenix-Sikota, jetted back several yards, and raised his weapons. "One move, and your head is gone! Along with the rest of you!"

Tsuna stood on the airstrip and looked up at the battle that was just taking place but then another person with flames appeared. Is that...another sikota?!, she thought. She squinted to make sure that she wasn't mistaken but she still felt caught off guard with the situation. "A replica that can control fire..."

Lupus and Ember backed up next to Neisan. "I am sick and tired of birds! Just one after another! Can't you throw like a scorpion or something my way?" E.ber yelled out in frustration. She gripped a sword in her hands strongly, glaring towards the Phoenix. Lupus sighed, claws growing from her fingertips.

"I cannot help but agree with my sister. You may have defeated that enemy, but we do not yet know if you are one yourself." Lupus spoke, more calmly than Ember though.

"I'd love to help you Firebird, but honestly, giving aid to people who chain me up is not a habit I'd like to make." A voice behind Sikota said, taunting. Sylar walked onto the airstrip. He flapped his wings, hovering a few yards in the air. Blades of darkness spun around him, while he smiled slightly. He snapped his fingers and a cage of darkness appeared around Rasiel. "By the way dear, I heard your threats. I cannot have you trying to mess with me right now. I'll uncage you when I take my leave." He said, glaring at Rasiel.

Ren's brow twitched, the Wingblade held firmly in his hand.  Its blade was still pointed straight out, parallel with this new Sikota's heart--or at least, where his heart should've been.  It was unknown whether he had one.  Ren's gaze penetrated into Sikota's, his blade unwavering.  Did he trust him?  Should he trust him?  After all, twice he'd thought he met Sikota and both times he'd been wrong.  How should this time be any different?

 

Then he remembered the Wingblade clenched tightly in his sweaty palm.  It materialized, and not from thin air either.  He'd also heard Sikota's voice. . . could it all have been a hallucination?  Or could this really be his former friend who stood before him?  The redhead let out a sigh; he just didn't know.

 

"I. . . "--Ren clamped his eyes shut for a moment, lowering his sword before opening them again--"I want to believe you, but, Sikota, how can I?  I watched you die, I've been tricked twice by replicas of you.  As much as I hate to say this, I guess I'm afraid to believe you again.  I've finally accepted that you're gone, and that you never could come back.  And yet here you are."  Then, in a soft whisper that only Sikota could catch.  "How can I know that it's really you?  What makes you different from all the fakes I once believed in?"

"Oooh, I'm SO SCARED. Someone locked me up in a cage made of my own power!" Rasiel complait sarcasticlly.

Karu2 looked at Rasiel, then realizing what to do he threw his Techo Sphere at Sylar, electrocuting him.

"Leave Master alone." he said, his voice just as robotic as Rasiel's rabbit form.

Rasiel made her darkness blade go away, placing her hand on the cage. She was trying to suck the darkness form the cage away so she could use its darkness.

Yumi just sat there. Yes people were fighting,but maybe it wasn't her place to help. Her mind wandered to other place mainly Xi. It seemed to her he wasn't evil. Misguided- yes. Dumb-yes. Evil-no,no way. He was mad-at the world and maybe,just maybe she could understand him,just a little. Just the way he was doing things was wrong. Killing people,making clones,causing pain. All wrong. She couldn't allow. A thought hit her. "Rather than fight Xi,we should try to understand him-he hates the world,he wants revenge to make others like him,it's just so...wrong. Xi,I have a request." She said. Only did she take notice of the new appearance. 

 

"Guys,I know I can't understand how you feel,but he's different,he could have killed you now. Plus the air isn't heavy feel. I intertwined with water,plus..weird things happen here. Demon,prove you real! Saying something of proof!" She called out to the new bird demon.

 

(There the reason she hasn't talked and helping him,I think I'd like something done.)

Hazimie arrived to the place where all the people who once fought Kijiya.Then,he saw his own dead body nearby."Alright,time to get my own power back..."Hazimie said as he use his palms with glowing powers and take his power from his own dead body."Now....the only left is the other half...."Hazimie said as he heading to the sealing crystal  that Kijiya has been sleep."Now.....time for a comeback..."Hazimie said as he then touch the crystal and closed his eyes.Inside on his mind,he was in his own world and in front of him......was Kijiya,that has been chained,again."We meet again,Kijiya...."Hazimie said to him as Kijiya hears for what he said but still not moving as he was in a deep slumber."It seems......that you come once again......tell me.....what are you here for?...."Kijiya question him."Well,all i'm trying to say is.....i want to negotiate with you...."Hazimie answer to his question."I see......now,when do we start?...."Kijiya said as they began to talk each other....

Xander was blown back by the true Sikota's appearance. But he caught himself midair.

 

[Who. is that guy?? He just obliterated the bird guy who was beating everyone!!!! But, can he be trusted?? He seems to know Xi.. This doesn't look good]

 

He didn't have time to react to all that had happened. He heard Rasiel's cry and turned to her direction

 

"Rasiel!!" He called to her. Her started flying to her earnestly, but he still couldn't fly very fast

 

After a moment reached her. "Rasiel. Sorry I'm late.. What happened????" He asked as he bagan to try and break the cage with his telekinesis

 

{You.. made the Karu clone..??} He asked through telepathy

Sikota looked around. His friends didn't trust him. "Ren, that sword you have." He gestured to his one wing. "Need I explain? I granted you a piece of me and that functioned as my way for breaking Death's last chains." He turned. "Tsuna, I guess you didn't here me, but before I died, I promised that I'd be back soon enough. Heck, if I heard right, even Xi vouched for me! But I don't know how great his word is in your minds." He turned to Neisan. He moved into a subtle fighting stance. "Make your move, let your guns do the talking."

Locke was surprised and enraged when Sikota suddenly broke his draw-sword. He was so powerful, too much for be harboured. His face showed frustration, "How could he?..." Locke was thinking what to do... if he could reach his paper.... but then... something unexpected happened... "huh...?"

Before I knew... the laugh of Xi was heard around the place, and then ... "Two!?? "

Another Sikota appeared from nowhere... no... it was not that.... it was also like the demon one faced before... Kijiya.... 

In that winged phoenix form... the fire was becoming a trouble... I turned back and I saw Ren fighting Sikota... the real or fake? who knows... 

He was too powerful, yet still ... It was Ren´s battle...now I needed to help the others... that´s when the one looking like Kijiya touched the crystal. "Oh...no..."

Quickly he began to descend the stairs, drawing a machine gun, "If I´m gonna be useful... I need to help somehow... that´s when I saw another thing flying, but this time it was a familiar face....

 

" Xander!!" Locke said as he looked the group below. Another familiar face was there "Raziel!".

Neisan's brow clenched into a frown. "Just giving up? A fatal flaw in your creation, Xi." The mega laser warmed up, blazed with power, then released it in a thin beam of energy, straight at the Phoenix Sikota.

"Wait!" Yumi cried running up the floating ship. "Don't hurt the bird,give him a chance!" She cried ding her best to get the man in the tech suit to notice her.

"Robo-San wait!" She said hoping he would stop.

At the last moment, Ren shoved Neisan with all his weight.  It sent the blast of energy sailing near, but nevertheless past, the Phoenix Sikota.  "Stop!"  Ren cried, his voice hoarse from it all.  "No more fighting!  Just. . . no.  No more.  Too many lives have already been lost, we don't need more."  He then considered the latest Sikota.  Something in his heart told him that he was real, his true friend that had sacrificed himself for Tsuna.  If he were fake, why would he have aided in destroying the other and helping them?  What would he gain?  Nothing, except the lives of his friends.

 

The redhead walked up before Sikota, his hair shimmering in the bright moonlight.  He bowed his head low, his sword resting limb at his side.  "I may be a fool, but I trust you.  You have my loyalty, my friend."  With that, he brought his sword's hilt to his chest--a posture to prove his loyalty--and turned his gaze up to meet Sikota's.  "But tell me: are you really alive?  Are you here to stay with us for good, or does an afterlife await you, one that you will meet once it's all over here?"

"WHY DON'T YOU ASK THE BIRD BOY?!" Rasiel snapped, her eyes turning to Sylar. 

Karu2 began to fade away, Rasiel turning her attention to the clone.

"Yes...however it was just a short timed clone. I can get myself out of this cage." she said to Xander through telepathy. 

Neisan was shoved to the side by two people. "Why do you trust this one? What happened to you when you gave your trust to the first two? They were fakes! You can't just throw your trust willy-nilly at people! If you do, your heart gets broken, time and time again!" Neisan lowered his head, lowered his arms. Barely audible: "I know too well." His suit trembled with sobs.

Fulmen stood, alone, by the side of the air strip. Everyone else had already finished the fight, and now they all stood worrying about Sikota...or at least, someone who appeared to be him. Fulmen smirked at that, watching them all bicker and converse.

I'll leave them to that, i guess. He thought, waiting for them to finally reach a conclusion on their own. I've made enough trouble already. Having me come in might just make things worse.

"This is tedious." Xi's voice sounded almost bored.His voice buzzed through the earpeice. "The man saved you. The world requires some semblance of faith. So make a decision. Are you going to trust him or are you going to kill him? There is little time for this childish pedantry."

 

The raised airstrip began to rumble a bit...

"So,let me get this straight......you want to use my power in exchange for......heart?"Kijiya said to Hazimie as they talked each other at Hazimie's mind world."Indeed.....it is for the good purposes.....i will create your heart since you don't have one.....and yes,the reason i know about all of this because i was inside of you,during i put you a seal..."Hazimie said to Kijiya as he really want to help him."Tell me,how does your power can create heart?...."Kijiya said as he give him another question."Well,to put it simply.....hearts is born through feelings......and my music power.....born through that.....which means,i can create a heart with my power.And for that,i need your power in exchange for a good purposes..."Hazimie said as Kijiya sighing."Alright,you will......but first,released this chain please...."Kijiya said as Hazimie agrees and use his power to release the chains.After the conversation ends,Hazimie wake up from his mind world and seal the sealing crystal inside of his replicated body."Now then.....since it has been settled.....i,no.....WE will heading to the battlefield..."Hazimie said as he then heading to battlefield,obtaining powers from Kijiya as he determined to end this battle...

"Xi, my antics are more than just childish, as I'm sure you know." Sylar replied to Xi. He strengthened Rasiel's cage, and looked towards Xander and the girl. Sylar swatted the air, telekinetically throwing Xander back. "No girl likes being overportected Lover Boy. Especially one that turns into a demon everyonce in a while." He spoke cockily, smiling slightly. Ember and Lupus were still on the airstrip as it began to rumble. As concerned with the phoenix as Ember was, the one flying seemed a tad more psychotic.

"Unfortunately, Xi is right. Trust should be readily handed out to people who destroy people that are kicking our butts." Ember interjected to the ongoing fight. She then pointed to the sky, where Sylar hovered. A chain and weight materialized around his feet, and he fell to the ground. "And besides, we've got a bigger problem." Ember finished.

Sylar exited the dust cloud that had been created from his impact. "Screw this. See you fools later. Have fun with 'em Xi!" Sylar yelled out to everyone on the airstrip, and Xi deep below the ground. The serial killer vanished into the darkness, evading his final battle yet again.

Ember threw her hands up exasperated. "Or not." She muttered.
