My favorite ones would have to be FFVII, FFX, and FFXIII.

It was announced for an HD version in 2011 and then nothing....Also mine are VII, VIII, X, XII, and XIII

I haven't heard anything about FFX HD coming out this year....I hope they found a way to add online blitzball!!It would be epic lolUgh....it appears FFX HD comes with the much despised FFX-2 :/Although they haven't yet said if it too will be in HD

I haven't played many, but XII is the one I've enjoyed the most.

Well, i mean, PS4 comes out at the end of this year, and lots of people will switch to that and if Sqaure wants to make a really good profit on that, they need to sell it now, before PS4 comes out and PS3 is still in style.

But Final Fantasy VI is my ultimate favorite.  I really have no preference between the older versus newer Final Fantasy games.  Both are extraordinarily different, which makes me like them all the more.  (And, as you can see, I chose 2 older and 2 newer titles.)

If you don't like any game past VII, chances are you won't like X.  Final Fantasy X has the feel of the "new" Final Fantasy games, and is nothing like the older ones (or not like III, IV, VI, or VII, at least).  I love diversity, so I liked it just because it was so different, but I know a lot of people that prefer the older FFs don't tend to like X.

Final Fantasy 4 and Final Fantasy 13, because they are just epic and have amazing stories, and the characters are so endearing.  And those are the two Final Fantasy games that I've played.  I've only heard of the others or seen them, but haven't played the rest.  I have a lot of catching up to do. ^^'

Goshdarnit, i really hope they revert to the older ones, at least for some of the Final Fantasies. PSP/Vita remakes of III, V, and Vi would be awesome, as would a PS3/4 remake of VII. Thanks for telling me though.Also, I see how I was favorited by someone other than me, same with IV, V, and VI. But II and III get no love. I can see the flaws in III, but II was just amazing. The villain is my favorite of the series, the plot is great, the characters are full of betrayal and a bit of personality (with exceptions). The game itself was challenging, most specifically Castle Pandemonium, and just the duneons in general. I won't change anyone's opinion, but I'm disappointed.

Well I have played all the final fantasys on the list except for the FFXI, and I enjoyed almost everyone of them, but if I had to choose, I prefer the,VI, XI and IV, in that order they are my favorites and the best, in my humble opinion.
