So I was doing a bit of reminiscing today about the good ol' times I once had, and it got me to thinking about all those good television shows I used to love.  Here's the ones I'd lived by in my childhood; please feel free to share your own if you'd like.

 

#1 The Big Comfy Couch -- This was my FAVORITE TV show of all time!

 

#2: The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh -- A very close second indeed.

 

#3: Gullah Gullah Island -- Such a cheery show!  I still get all happy when I see clips of it.

 

#4: Pooh's Corner -- Eh, not sure why I loved this one, but I did.

 

#5: Aladdin TV series -- I mean really, what wasn't there to like about it?

 

#6: Little Bear -- This was the show I liked in preschool, but thought I'd mention it because it had been my favorite at one time.  I'm genuinely surprised it's still being aired.

 

And, finally #7: The original My Little Pony Tales -- This show makes me laugh now, and not sure what I saw in it before.  But back in the day I thought it was great.

 

Do any of you guys remember watching these as a kid?  And, if not, feel free to share some of the silly ones that you enjoyed!

I remember 2, 5 and 6. I can remember some weird ones I watched as a kid but can't remember the name for them.

Just so ya' know, The Big Comfy Couch is probably the scariest television show I've ever seen.

Truthfully, it never quite dawned on me that they were clowns till I was about ten years old and really thought about it.  That's too bad that it terrified you, but everyone's got their own things that disturb them.  I could see how some might've found the show as "scary."

I'm actually not that surprised that you don't remember Pooh's Corner.  It was only aired for a brief while on the Disney channel back in '95 (or was it 94...?  I don't remember now), and for all I know it might've even been a short skit between programs.

And yes; I miss those days, too.
