What is the saddest moment in Kingdom Hearts?

Posted

Kingdom Hearts is a series of Laughter, of sadness, and of joy for the characters. Many sad scenes come through-out the series. Name what you think the saddest was!

For me, it's in KH2 when Axel says: "See ya, partner" and a tear falls. Only KH cutscene to actually make me cry. (Though I came close many times)

That girl who got stuck in the realm of darkness trying to save a friend.

Aqua getting stuck in the Realm of Darkness for 10+ years.

"Sora! Dinner's ready."

"Sora"

And she never saw him again

lmao i wonder at what point in developement was Nomura just like "okay we wont show his mom EVER MWAHAHAHAH"

But yea besdes the above mentioned it would have to be BBS's ending, there was just so much sacrifice especially Aqua. I mean BBS has all the makings of a Greek Tragedy minus the death and incest

Although I personally think that Xion's death was quite sad, I had never cried during a Kingdom Hearts game until the cut scene where Aqua is walking around in the Realm of Darkness and the light from her Wayfinder was going out. But this was just my reaction.

Still, there are a lot of sad moments in Kingdom Hearts that it is a bit hard to define the "saddest" moment.

When Sora stabbed himself to save Kairi. It was so sad, and that Kairi tries to catch Sora, but he just dissapears into Light.

It has to be the end of Aqua's story in BbS for me. It was pretty damn emotional and when she shed a tear while saying Sora's name, it almost got me.

I guess Xion's death was too. But that is mainly because my god her theme is so sad and beautiful D:

I must be heartless. I didn't react at all to Xion's death. It was something else that brought mw to tears.

"Kingdom Hearts...where is my heart?"

it's definitely between Xion"s death or the line " I've only got seven days left of summer vacation"

the line depressed me because roxas gets flung around the most as a character. nobody care about him at all. he really just wants to be his own person but is constantly told that he dosent deserve to be in one way or another. and then after being forced to kill one of his best freinds, he has his memories stripped away and is forced to live a lie that he believes is the truth until axel come and effectively messes that up as well. Roxas is like bad luck brian. he just cant catch a break.
