Sora, Riku, and Aqua Marthe and Chrom from Fire Emblem Vanille, Snow, and Hope from FF XIII Cloud and Zack from FF VII Karis, Matthew, and Amiti from Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Isaac from Golden Sun. Geno or Mallow from Super Mario RPG Banjo and Kazooie, if Rare suddenly decides to come back home Speaking of which, it'd be cool to play as K. Rool too. Geno and Isaac would be amazing to see in the game. Sadly, I doubt either will happen.

I could see his moves differ from regular Mario and his look and animation stand out. Not sure how Nintendo plan on handling the 3rd party characters this time around but I could see Megaman fitting right in. I personally would love to see Sora thrown into the mix, but I highly doubt it.
