Skip out on the scene where Roxas fights Saix as he's leaving the Organization? That was like, one of my favorite moments in the entire game and they just decided to get rid of that? I wanted to hear Saix say, "We don't accept resignations," then pull out his big ass weapon (Berserker I think?). I mean it would have just shown how focus-minded Roxas was on leaving and his extreme determination as well. Also, I wish they would have shown some of the fights themselves, and not just cut away to a black screen. Is anyone else disappointed that this scene wasn't included? What other scenes would you have like to seen that were not included, and what changes would you have made to the movie overall?

They also took out the roxas and xion fight. I kinda wish that added the Saix part in but oh well. They made most of the scenes in hd at least.

If they removed a scene involving Saix,of course I'm disappointed.I knew it wound not happen,but I was hoping that all the boss fight would have become a cutscene,escpecially the final battle between Roxas and Riku.

You're not the only one disappointed.  The cutscenes are beautiful and all, but the whole thing felt incomplete, though that should be expected when you condense a 30+ hour game into 2.5 hours of pure footage.  While 1.5 certainly got the gist of Days's story, there were many details glossed over or left out that I felt weakened things.  Some of those details, like the missions, could afford to be brushed aside for the sake of not having to create 10+ hours of high quality movies, and I understand that.  What disappointed me is that many scenes I was looking forward to were left out as well.  In general, I wanted to see the scenes where Roxas snaps at the Organization, which shows his emotions and independence from the group.  Roxas's confrontation after Axel knocks out Xion and forcefully brings her back was something I was looking forward to, as was him yelling at Saix for being dismissive of Xion after she passes out.  A scene I was really looking forward to was the mission where Roxas has to place the Organization's device at Agrabah, and he sheds a tear, lamenting if he truly has anywhere to go or anyone to turn to.  And oh yeah, Roxas escaping the castle and confronting Saix would've been epic.

 

You don't really get the full Days experience in 1.5, sad to say.  I understand not everyone's a fan of the gameplay and the repetitive missions, but there's so much more buildup to everything in the original game than in 1.5.  I felt the original was more powerful overall, though that might be in part due to how it was in untranslated Japanese (I was only able to determine what was happening from context of what I remember from the original).  Overall, it was kind of a let down, especially since the Days cutscenes were the only thing I was looking forward to in 1.5.  I gots no PS3.

I'm kinda dissapointed about the animation it doesnt look like KH, maybe I'm the only who thinks that it looks werid but I dont know it bugs me.

At least I got my 358/2 days to see it anytime I want again haha but still, it looks like it's great, but missing a part which I judge to be crucial like that... As rob said, it isn't perfect..

What I don't like is how they only show part of the scenes.  Like they show Xion getting her keyblade back but you have to read about the whole stick part.  What's up with that?  If the part is important, show the whole thing.

Nomura said they were changing 70% of the main story into cutscenes, so I guess it just didn't make the cut. And his weapon is a claymore called Lunatic. But yeah I was disappointed, and this scene would of been cool:
 

 

 

As for changes, I suppose they could have added scenes from the manga to make it last longer.

I think it was cause they didn't wanna go over 3 hours but it would of been cool to see these cutscenes:

Roxas's first missions with each organization member, instead of just text.

When roxas was leaving the organization, His confront with Saïx, I just thought that was important

Xion battle, at least showing her turn her into it, and see roxas fall from the sky like they did in the DS version.

Yeah it's fairly obvious. But it's just the way the characters designed that kinda.. makes it look.. I dunno. But yeah, it's obvious.

I haven't actually watched the scenes but listing to you guys, I agree the Saix, Xion and Riku battles should have been there because they were the most important ones. They didn't need to go through each of Xion's transformations just the last one, and the battles didn't need to be long just have them trading blows for a few seconds. The absence of the battle with Riku is especially disappointing, seeing as how they already had it in Deep Dive.

I agree with you 100%. I'm actually pretty mad that they left out fights and stuff. The whole purpose of this collection is to bring in new fans and help them understand what they've missed. The fight against Saix was pretty important, but the fights against Xion and Riku were vital to the story! The fight against Xion is a part of what makes her death so sad. How can they leave out these epic fights?

their goal was to get the basic plot down. they got that done. but it was pretty bland. i was disappointed that all the interesting parts were out and all of the battle scenes were gone. it was just some chronological sequence. like a timeline. not a lot of emoiton put into it except for the part when Xion died. leaving out the fight against Xion was in my opinion ridiculous and unacceptable. they took out a lot of things that made it so unique.
