1.  Ash is not ten

I don't care what they say in the first episode of BW.  This fact was confirmed in the first season when Misty said that it had been a whole year since they had been to Viridian City.  Most likely it took him a year to go through the other regions as well and add on the time spent in the Orange Islands and BF, he's about 15/16 by now.  The only reason he still looks (and claims to be) ten is appeal to the younger crowd.

2.  Ash is not a noob

OK, raise your hand if you've never done anything stupid.  Ever.  No one?  Thought so.  See, we've all been stupid at one point or another, so why can't Ash?  He is human, isn't he.  Yes, the Nimbassa Gym was a pretty big blunder, at least Ash had a plan, unlike when he first started out.

3.  Ash and his Pokedex

Like I said before, the whole reason the pokedex is in the show is to introduce the pokemon to the audience.  Most kids watching the show would have no idea what a Charmander is, and since Ash is the only one with a pokedex, he has to be the one to look up the pokemon.  It could also be that Ash is wondering what this new pokedex would be saying about the pokemon since each version says different things.

4.  Ash still has his exp.

If you remember, Ash defeated trainers with more exp. than him at his first Pokemon League.  It was good when he did it, so why is it a bad thing when Cameron does that.  Ash had to learn how to battle, but if you look at Cameron, even though he is scatter brained, he has an innate talent for pokemon battling.  Remind you of anyone else?  CoughcoughAldercoughcough.

5.  The show still is enjoyable

There are plenty of people who still enjoy the show.  Need I explain?

This seems legit.... Good back up evidence...

True. I think what most people who don't like the anime as it is now is just for it to be more like that Black and white anime trailer. Some people can still find enjoyment in how the current anime is however.

Ash could still be 10, there are inconsistency in the plot I heard

and why can't ash beat any leagues? his pikachu is like maxed out but still loses to kids with weak pokemon

After many years since the Pokemon anime came out, I still like it :D

And his Pokedex lacks charterer now. If I recall, back in Kanto, it would at times spurt out small hilarious one liners, at least in the American dub, or it would hold out on info till after Ash learned it himself, but we lost that in later in the next generations.

Also, Ash is like Superman: No constant power. At night time, as well as in areas with no or little sunlight, Superman looses intense levels of power, and in the sun he is like a god. Ash can beat PL level people en every generation with ease, but then a brand new trainer walks along with a Pokemon that is HORRIBLE in stats or move sets, or has little experience, and gets his butt handed to him. Then there is the fact his Pikachu on Kanto alone stats of this time is faster than a Tynamo when he fought the electric type Gym...

Literally, all he would need to beat the Elite Four is Sceptile, Charazard, Pikachu, Butterfree, Starraptor, and Krokodille and he would beat the Elite Four senseless.

Yes but the Simpsons don't age and yet they live in the current year not '88/'89 which is when they aired lol

I never liked the show, always thought it was awful.

Which Elite Four?

Which Elite Four?

Any. Seriously, Charazard would be the most he would really need, but since ash looses to new guys with an overpowered Pokachu and looses, he would need a team.

It's the fact random newbies beat him and he has never beaten a pokemon league that make me not try and watch the show again.

That, and you find time to watch from Episode 1 to the present...

You don't need to watch every episode to understand what's going on......This is like saying you need to watch Spongebob from Episode 1 to understand why he likes to piss Squidward off

And besides, the Anime has been designed to be a regular TV Show more than being an actual anime....most people watch Pokemon just to see the new Pokemon the haven't met yet in the games. The show has been designed to appeal to young audience in the first place and there is still a lot of people who still like it

Besides, don't let me talk about Naruto and how he still has only TWO JUTSUs(minus the summon jutsu) since the beginning of the anime until the last episode of Shippuden. He only uses variations of Shadow clone jutsu and Rassengan in every single fight and he never uses a different jutsu

About Ash being 10, isnt there a Ho-Oh explanation behind it? Like he got eternal life and shit

I find it awkward because i kinda still want Ash to be 10 ;-;

Ah those theories... Reminds me of the coma theory.

I agree only with 3 and 5. No clue on 4.

My biggest issue is the new supporting characters that have been introduced since Dawn, I just can't seem to enjoy the show when they are in it. I miss May, Misty, and Brock.
