Posted April 9, 201312 yr As the title says, which one do you prefer? I myself like Majora's Mask more because of how huge it is and lack of WATER TEMPLE, but OoT is still really awesome. Edited April 9, 201312 yr by Hei
April 9, 201312 yr MM, always was and always will. It was my first Zelda game I played and therefore the most nostalgic. OoT is great and all too; I enjoyed the heck out of that game, but MM just has dat feel. Besides, I love the darker Zeldas more than the "light-hearted" ones, usually because of the atmosphere and deeper story. This is also why Twilight Princess is my number one Zelda game evarrrrr (as you can tell by my name and icon,,, lol).
April 9, 201312 yr Oracle of Ages!~ No between the two, which I've both started but yet to finish I would go with Ocarina of Time even though the water temple frustrated me to no end!~
April 9, 201312 yr Majora's Mask It was so different and it was pretty dark as well.. but not to a point where it's just.... weird. Though it couldn't really exist without OoT I am fond of it
April 9, 201312 yr I never really got into Majora's Mask and I need to try again soon, but Ocarina of Time is arguable my all time favorite game so yea.
April 9, 201312 yr I have to go with Ocarina. It was a childhood thing for me, and I loved the Lost Woods song. Although I love Majora's Mask just as much, as it's story is far more in-depth and has a heck of a lot more to do...I just feel Ocarina of Time has a special place for me.
April 9, 201312 yr Majora's MaskAlthough it has the unfortunate association with being the Zelda game with the lowest number of main temples, it really is the best one ever. Lots of sidequests, a DARK AND EDGY storyline, a somewhat lenient time limit, MM had everything.
April 9, 201312 yr NOT A FAIR QUESTION. T~T Ocarina of Time was the first game I ever played and finished, so I have to remain forever loyal. It is the embodiment of my childhood. I consider them to be pretty much the same game, though. I like them both very much. Edited April 9, 201312 yr by Zola
April 9, 201312 yr Majora's Mask. It mixes up the Zelda format, which really freaked some players out, but I thought it was innovative. I also enjoyed the dark and twisted story more than Ocarina.
April 9, 201312 yr i'd say Majora's mask cuz of all the masks, especially the great deity's mask, and also the side quests addition to the story cuz it really made you feel that the world would end in 3 days
April 9, 201312 yr Majora's Mask. It's a darker game than any other LOZ game, and I love its plot a lot more. Why? Because it wasn't the same old rescue the princess, save the world bit that they do over and over.
April 9, 201312 yr Ocarina of Time because it's the only one of the two I've played. But I will give some acknowledgement to MM for being darker and actually tossing in a few bits of psychology.
April 9, 201312 yr lack of WATER TEMPLE I thought the Great Bay temple did a nice enough job of being awful...
April 9, 201312 yr Author I'm not really into either that much....Sooo...A Link To The Past. Link To The Past is awesome, I have it for my Snes You really need to try Majora's Mask though, it's all dark and forboding I thought the Great Bay temple did a nice enough job of being awful... Ohhhh dang...yeah that was a pain as well. But the Water Temple was just tedious as eff

April 9, 201312 yr Definitely preferred Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask had its place, but that countdown really irked me. And that darn Water Temple of its own. After the OoT, I never wanted to see a water dungeon again.
April 12, 201312 yr Majora's Mask. darker, more edgy story, best sidequests in a Zelda game, the masks, a different formula than rescue the princess and the first time you put on the Fierce Deity Mask has got to be one of the highlights of anyone's gaming career.
