Do you think there is a significance to his eye color i've been debating whether or not he had Xehanorts heart in him as well.

I believe golden/yellow eyes and pointy ears, mean a connection to Xehanort, granted for Vanitas we can't really see his ears but I think the eyes are enough to make an assumption. 

Probably. It WAS said that these Yellow eyes appear when People uses the Darkness at own will or something like that, but except the People that have parts of Xehanorts Heart in them nobody else had these eyes. I'm sure it'll be explained in KH3

Darkness is actually very bad for your liver and can make it to work improperly causing yellowing eyes.  In some people it causes discoloration of the skin too, but most of the KH characters have so far been unaffected by that.

Fun Fact: Darknes also causes cancer and is a result of bad smoking habits.

i originally thought it was due to darkness, but now i think its linked to xehanort seeing his eyes have been yellow since before he knew about all this light and darkness stuff

Pro Tip: Yellow eyes has nothing to do with darkness, that was a widely accepted fan interpretation that has been debunked. 

 

It hasn't been outright stated but I'd be surprised if Vanitas wasn't a Darkness all things considering. It'd benefit Xehanort more to have him Norted than not.

So would this make Ventus have part of xehanorts heart in him when he is revived?  Or will soras heart have helped heal the void from which vanitas broke when they were separated? obviously just speculation no real answers yet

That depends on what exactly happened to Vanitas which isn't entirely clear at this point. It's implied that Vanitas went back to Ven and like him is most likely "asleep". It also depends if the Xehanort heart fragment that infected Vanitas is also "asleep" or outright purged. The heart fragment is directly connected to Vanitas so even with him potentially inside of Ven, Ven himself should be fine granted that Vanitas is still asleep since the connection between Ven and Xehanort's heart is indirect.

Yeah, it was Young Xehanort. It's debatable if they have an actual connection but that was more a reaction from Ven within Sora. Sensing YMX stirred his heart and memories.

Personally I'm pretty sure Vanitas'll be one of the 13th darknesses.I mean if you can get people back by traveling through time, pretty sure Vanitas will be one of them.
