Have you ever used a Poison-type Pokemon in your team????

Note:I mean a Pokemon that is mainly a poison type(Muk,Koffing,Golbat...etc) not a Pokemon where poison type is secondary like Gengar,Bulbasaur.

For me,the only poison-type Pokemon that I ever used in my team are either Crobat or Weezing and that's it.

Nope. I used a Crobat once. Unfortunately Poison doesn't have enough good Pokemon or moves. Hopefully it gets an upgrade in the next gen like Bug type did.

Crobat if the game allows me to... In gen 3 that bat was insanely powerful due to shadow ball and sludge bomb still being physical.

I wonder why there hasn't been a single, not a single legendary poison type.

So far we got legendaries for every type except poison.

Crobat is pretty OP, especially with Speed.I do have a soft spot for Seviper, though. Also Weezing got me through Caitlin's battle in BW2 because I trolled her with Zoroark.

Crobat in my version of pokemon emerald but i never had him remember any of his poison type moves i really used him more as my flying type pokemon i actually forgot he could be considered half poison type lol

There's a cruel reason why people diss poison type, it's their appearences, a lot of people don't imagine having a skutank or muk in their team, as for posion moves, they certainly are strong.

I'm using a Muk in my White 2, it's great for defense, and is decent for offense.

Crobat OP? Have you seen it's base spatk?

I haven't used one since gen 4. Only Drapion because it was pretty solid as the time. (And Poison is its main type FYI)

Also just to troll, can we count poison Arceus? xD just kidding.

If Eevee had a poison type evolution I'd have a poison type Pokemon for sure, but no,I don't like them for some reason and I never use them(Except for Gengar, but I don't use him for his poison type). The only one that might possibly be strong (that I can think of for the top of my head) is Crobat.

I think I know the reasons:

1Most strong poison type moves like Sludge Bomb can be taught to Grass types and Ghost Types(If my Gengar can learn it since he's part poison, why would I need a poison type pokemon??)

2They're extremely week against the mightiness that is Psychic Types and they're weak to ground-type.

And useless against Steel Type.

But Drapion is also Dark-type which gives it immunity against Psychic types. The problem is I can barely find it's previous state pokemon in order to catch and train one.

I had a Toxicroak on my Diamond. I used him, but only because I had trained him to like level 62, so he was really good.

Poison types are my favorite.

I think a lot of people don't like them because they aren't using them right: they try to get them to just straight up fight opponents when the real strength of poison types are the status effects. You poison the enemy, or put them to sleep, and then when they're weakened is when you attack. It's about being tricky and using skullduggery.

Also, because psychic types are so OP, and everyone uses psychics, poison types tend to get screwed over.

Long live Koffing.

Still manageable to catch. Also it's still has ground as a weakness. Poison is still it's main type.

Yeah but being part dark makes it the most useful poison type

Okay but it's still a poison type I found rather good.  Crobat is another (*cough*flying*cough*), but even with Nasty Plot and good arsenal of moves, it still can't pull off a decent sweep (in-game either) due to that bad spatk.

Only Crobat.
