Have you ever traded in a game to Gamestop?

Posted

Surely someone has been ripped off of their money before.

I traded in games once and never did it again for the obvious reason.

almost did, but after getting more info.... might as well sell on craigslist/ebay

I think the only real valid complaint people have about Gamestop is this. But, it doesn't bother me, because I don't ever trade in games... I traded in a few PS2 games and a PS3 game for a friend, but that's really all. I got 8 bucks out of the deal.

I've never traded my games in. I've always known that selling them online is the way to go.

I use to, what a horrible mistake that was.

You've double posted this topic, is this another IPB glitch or the reason your system?

Anyhow, one should be deleted.

It's a forum hiccup

Nopee, however I almost traded in my original Nintendo DS (the fat one) to gamestop, when they told me how much they'd give me for it I was just like yeah no I think I'll just sell it to someone at school or something for more money!~

I've never traded in games, or sold games.  Even if I've completed them hundreds of times and reckon I'll never play again, I know if I did sell/trade I would suddenly be DYING to play it.

God bless phpBB.

Made the silly decision of trading in 20~ games in one day (A bunch of PS2 titles I didn't use anymore).  Got like, $40.  Should have sold them individually online ._.

i trade in games but only when its like 2 games for a new 60 dollar game

A long time ago, I traded in a couple of DS games and only got about $3 out of them. They were pretty good condition too...That's when I learned my lesson.

I only did it once, and I got next to nothing for it.

Never, and never will ever trade in or sell games to GS. That's why I got friends/eBay for.

Thankfully, I've already heard how Gamestop trade ins work. I've never done it, and I never will. I don't like getting rid of my games anyway.

Yes. Many. Many games. Unfortunately so

I've done with a couple DS games, and i only got 15 bucks back. Never did it again.

Only games like Pokemon, COD, GTA, etc. get real trade in value.
