On top of the fact that the Kingdom Hearts fans who consider the handhelds side games and refuse to play them will not understand KH3, what if there isn't even a Kingdom Hearts III? What if the game is just named and not given a number? (ex: Kingdom Hearts: Reconnect) 

I could see those fans who whined about Kingdom Hearts III so often actually have it out but not know about it just because it didn't contain the number in it's title. It would be a very good slap to to fans.

They should just move straight into KH4

People like that think that only the console games matter. So they would buy it anyway.

 I swear i know people who dont like the "side" games but love 1 and 2 are not really true kingdom hearts fans. like me and my friend were talking the other day, and he was complaining how KH3 didnt come out yet and he refuses to play the handheld games. i tried to explain it to him but he said " thats a bad part on Square to do something like that" ( he ment put the kingdom hearts games on handhelds) Thoughts?

KH4 coming 2016! when i first saw KH3D i kinda thought that would be KH3 but i doubt that would ever have happened

I heard that 3D was rushed. It would be better in my opinion if they didnt make coded/re:coded and had focus more in that game.

 

Even though I loved re:coded, its the least important until now. People can easily skip it and still understand the story.

Data worlds arent that relevant.

3D was rushed. If only it hadn't been. It could've been longer and had more of the things that BBS did.

They should skip right to KHIV, which will allude to all the events which were supposed to have happened in KHIII, but which the audience will never get to see or experience. It could create a plot where the main characters of the new game try and find out what happened to lead them to where they are now.

 

In other words: KHIV: The Search for KHIII.

News flash! In KHIII Xehnaort is not the final boss. After Xehanort's defeat Nomura comes out, says he created the worlds and has been controlling every aspect to of the characters lives. That he is a God and that he "owns all you bitches". Then you have a heart-wrenching choice to destroy him and live in peace but never having another KH game or let him live and continue to suffer while he does whatever he wants but get to have more games.

I also get annoyed with people who think that all the KH games that aren't on consoles are just unimportant 'side games' I mean, Re:COM was originally a 'side game' having been released on GBA, but it was so important to the story that it was remade for the PS2. In the same way, all the 358/2 Days cutscenes are being moved to PS3 in the 1.5 Remix, again, because they're so important to the story. I was completely lost when I tried to play KH2 before playing Days, and I can't believe that people just dismiss it because it's not on a console.

 

I actually think it would be funny if they did make KH3 and named it something different, so that all the whiny people who only want "KH3" would never get/play it, and would wallow in misery forever.

That would be the best troll that Square Enix has ever pulled off xDBe on your toes!
