Something I've wondered about Luxord

Posted

We all know that our dear friend, The Gambler of Fate, controls time and beats the crap out of people with massive cards.  "Well, sure, but where's this going?"  Think about something for a second:  Luxord, the supposed wielder of time, hardly uses his ability.  The only thing he does with it is turn both his and Sora's health into a count down, and uses some cards and techniques that have the potential to reduce your time.  But nothing else!  How come when Nomura was scheming to troll us by destroying everything we ever knew about KH, he didn't even make Luxord a vital part of DDD since he controls goddamn time?

Oh, and you know how I brought up those cards he bashes you with?  Two or three words: Castle firetrucking Oblivion scumbag keyblader types firetrucking instead of the word usually replaced by it like a freaking hipster   The castle governed by cards is devoid of the one person who uses them to give the worst paper cuts of your life.  Square, why you no make Luxord secret boss?

And luxord is supposed to be Nomura's favorite Nobody.  Way to skimp out on him by probably giving him the least character development of all the Nobodies Square.  G freaking G

Maybe he's still going to do that.In KH3

I guess, that the element "time" and time travel are different things.

Sora and co can use a "time freeze" like spell on enemies, too.

I've been wondering for a while now whether Luxord might be one of the 13 vessels of darkness and will therefore probably have an important role in KH3. He's the most likely candidate for a vessel of darkness out of all the other members that haven't already revealed themselves as one. After all Lea is on the side of light, Dilan, Even, Aeleus and Ienzo are currently in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden with no sign of being recruited by Xehanort, Marluxia and Larxene tried to take over the Organization so it's unlikely their Somebodies will have been chosen and as for Demyx...well let's just say I think he'd prefer to spend his resurrected life strumming on his sitar than be mixed up in Xehanort's plans again.

Therefore if Luxord's Somebody is indeed a vessel of darkness then it's possible that he might have been the one who told Xehanort how to manipulate time in the first place. I could be wrong of course.

Plot Twist: Luxord's son is Xehanort which is why kh3d had time travel.

Because its natural not to put Luxord in games that has his abilities. lol

Well, Luxord is underrated. Would be hard to give him more screen time. Sorry Luxord fangirls, but he doesn't play a significant role. Isa and Braig on the other hand...

That was a bad move on Square's part, I wish he would have had a bigger role in the game, but he just makes some brief appearances in Port Royal then the fight in TWTNW :/

My thoughts exactly. Same goes for Lexaeus.
