So, I've been stressing a LOT lately, because my counselor is like "Oh, Caleb, because you were in a deep depression your freshman year, you have TONS of work to make up this summer. You won't have any free time, just dedicate yourself to your work. Here, I'll set it up for you." So, that's reason enough to stress right there... and I had to make up this work in order to graduate. So, it's summer now, and I'm trying to do my school work... and I login to the site...

AND THERE WAS NO ASSIGNMENTS. I mean, he kept pushing and pushing on how I had to do this, or I'll fail... and then he doesn't even give me lessons or assignments. "Oh, I'll set it up for you, Caleb." AND HE DOESN'T EVEN DO HIS TEN PERCENT. Kept stressing it and stressing it, telling me I had no time for anything else and I had to prepare and I need to do this or fail... and he just lies to my face. That pisses me off. AND I NEVER GET PISSED OFF. This is the one time in a million that I actually get mad. I've never been this mad. Ever. It's important, Caleb. You'll have no free time, Caleb. You need to pass, Caleb.... AND HE JUST MAKES ME WANT TO GO TO HIS HOUSE AND BURN HIM WHILE HE IS SLEEPING. HE DID NOTHING. HE PROMISED. HE STRESSED HOW IMPORTANT THIS WAS, AND JUST FORGOT TO SET IT UP. He should be fired for doing such a lousy job. I hope he becomes homeless because of all the students he screwed over.

I did investigate. I've used this site million times before. They gave me a paper for it, saying that I had to do it at school now.

Sorry, Its just that he kept pushing and pushing. He literally told me to clear all my summer plans because I was going to be extremely busy. That just made me stressed and I just wanted to get it over with.

It sounds annoying and it was stupid of him to stress you over nothing but, on the bright side, you don't have any work you must do now.

Sounds like it isn't the entire school's fault. Just some unorganized counselor.

I'm really sorry...I know what it feels like to bomb a few years because of personal well-being...I would contact him, or any adult/school official you can that will be willing to help. You're lucky though, at least your school gives you the option to make everything up... Just look around, it doesn't matter how your counselor or the school is, so long as you get your work done; I hate a few of teachers too and it's hard, but if you don't get the work done then it affects you, not them.

 

Good luck though man. If you need to talk to anybody I'm willing to listen because I know where you're coming from. Keep your hopes high!
