So, Aqua had it with her in the Realm of Darkness. How would it be at Destiny Islands all of a sudden? Would they just put some random stuff in the teaser just to tease us more, or is there a bigger meaning to this? What do you think? Live or die, make your choice... I mean, discuss! *Hugs you all*

I think thats Aquas keyblade really. And if it is it could find aqua or just kill heartless if it was master guy it could find Terra-Nort, Terra-Eraqus so yeah or beat up heartless

Oh didn't knew she had it. Never played BBS Final Mix. Nomura is really going to give this on PS3.

I wonder why it has to take years that the keyblade arrived.

But the version you guys could play does show her sealing the Land of Departure, right?

She had his Keyblade already at that time.

maybe ansem found a way out? or she told it to find sora?

Also, it wasn't revealed how Mickey went to the realm of Darkness all by himslef to get the counterpart of Sora's Kingdom Key.

that in mind, maybe they found a way out, or, like you said, she told the Keyblade to get outta there.

Keyblades are mysterious weapons, indeed.

Oh my God, I just had this thought! What if Sora actually gets to use Master Eraqus' Keyblade when he finds it in order to find Aqua and the others that need saving?!

Don't forget, the last place we saw aqua was the dark margin. End of KH2, the door to light in the dark margin, lead to Destiny Islands. Perhaps when sora was looking off in the distance in the trailer, that might have been the door to light with Aqua and Ansem coming back.

I think it means something bad happened to Aqua. Why would she send off her only protection from the darkness elsewhere? Yes, to help Sora maybe, but it still seems fishy to me. This is also simply a beta trailer, so that might not happen in the game whatsoever.

True I think that is a reason why the Keyblade now has arrived.

She fainted and the keyblade flew in the sea.

It's probably just a concept trailer.

I hope this means that Eraqus can be revived.

It's because Time Travel. A rescued Aqua from the future thought it would be funny to leave Eraqus' keyblade on the beach for a past version of Sora to find, because how often do keyblades just wash up on shore? If you look really hard, you can probably see future Aqua and Sora hiding behind a tree on the mini island, laughing their faces off.

Who knows. In DDDs first trailer, almost everything from there made it into the game at some point. Even the falling Soras. So a scene like Sora picking up Master Keeper might appear...maybe in a totally different context.

Concept trailer...Probably means nothing at all. Cept for symbolism.

I really hope it is in the real thing.

I don't think that door to light specifically goes to Destiny Islands. I think its more like when Terra teleported Ven to the Destiny Islands by accident. He was just getting him out. The Door to Light sora and Riku go through acts sort of like a Corridor of Darkness.

In BBS if you watch the ending there is a part where Aqua is in the Realm of Darkness and she gets ready to kill some Darksides and summons Eraqus's keyblade. Then she gives up and decides to die, but Ven and Terra's keyblades save her.

Oh yeah I think what you mean. I didn't finish that part I found the game enough already :).

Why wouldn't it be a real thing?  I realize everyone is saying it's a "beta" trailer (not sure who actually said that) but it's a teaser trailer.  The master keeper is a specific keyblade.  If it was random/general and not meant to be apart of the story why just not use the kingdom key?

My friend and I were discussing this and we both realized that Eraqus's Keyblade was the one she used to lock Ven in the Chamber of Awakening (or whatever that room is called xD) in C.O.....so maybe now that Sora's found it, he has the power to unlock Ven's body and heart. I dunno just a guess.

The keyblade is linked to he heart of its owner and the master keeper is the only way to save ven, maybe the keyblade came to sora so he could help  ventus get resurrected :)

Hey, pretty good guess. But I think his Keyblade would be used in order to be able to walk through Catsle Oblivion and be able to FIND that room, since Organization XIII searched for it and coulnd't find it.

"Use my Keyblade to lock this land. You Aqua, only you will be able to unravel its secrets." As Eraqus told Aqua, that must be because she sealed it with his Keyblade.

So rather than only Aqua, maybe anyone with his Keyblade can find Ven in Castle oblivion.

Look at KH3D's 1st trailer then look at its last trailer.

Why wouldn't it be a real thing?  I realize everyone is saying it's a "beta" trailer (not sure who actually said that) but it's a teaser trailer.  The master keeper is a specific keyblade.  If it was random/general and not meant to be apart of the story why just not use the kingdom key?

well it could have some random meaning of sorts, but its Nomura so we will never know until the game comes out. or until he gives out some interview

Bear in mind that beta trailers may include concepts that are used in the games or scrapped completely later in final development. With that being said I imagine it's a symbolic reference to Sora's need to locate the key to finding Ventus. As I've stated in a previous thread the Master Keeper was used as the symbol and tool to signify one as the heir protector of LoD aka Castle Oblivion. Considering that Sora has been tasked with locating "The Guardians of Light" a natural conclusion would be to locate two of the already named guardians. Although nothing is set in stone as it is a beta trailer.
