Pokeymans.  That's about it, since I'm not a big Nintendo buff.

where's your answer about the question?

Yeah but they are still on Nintendo platforms, so...

And Kingdom Hearts & Final Fantasy are mostly on PlayStation these days but they aren't considered "Sony franchises" they are considered "Square Enix franchises".

not only for Sony even on Xbox dont forget that.. since Final Fantasy Xlll! lol

I'd answer if there was actually a series of video games developed by Nintendo which I play a lot of games from. After all, the only Mario game I like is Mario Kart 7, and the only Zelda game I like is Ocarina of Time.

I clearly said "mostly". And Square Enix have only started doing cheap ports to Xbox since they're in desperate need of money.

Well IDK, Pokemon's been in all the Smash Bros games, and that's normally reserved for primarily Nintendo franchises, and maybe 1 or 2 third party characters. But they didn't have any third party characters in SSB64 and Melee, yet Pokemon was in it. I guess Nintendo believes that Pokemon is a nintendo franchise like all of the other games.

Okay first off Square-Enix decides what console to put them on. Second off, you're forgetting the fact that KH and FF has gone on Nintendo systems too. And thirdly, Gamefreak strickly makes their Pokemon games for Nintendo's platforms. So it still feels like a Nintendo franchise even though Nintendo doesn't really own or make Pokemon.

Well I can't see them developing a side game for the PSP. Lol. And as for KH3D, they wanted it in 3D and the PS Vita wouldn't get enough sales.

Okay who do you mean by "them"? Gamefreak or Square-Enix?

Also LOL you seriously think that's why KH3D is on the 3DS? No, the reason why it was on the 3DS because Nintendo asked Square-Enix to make a KH game on it since the KH series has helped with sales on the DS and Gameboy. It has nothing to do with the Vita not making any sales.

Well of course it is, Square Enix needed a 10th anniversary title and the 3DS was the best option since the DS and PSP were dying and the Vita hadn't been released yet.

In order from favorite to least

Smash Bros.

Zelda

Pokemon

Mariokart

I've only recently gotten into Metroid, Kirby, and Star Fox so I can't really say that they're in my favs yet

Favorites:

1. Smash Bros: Arguably the best local multiplayer series ever and an ever improving single-player experience

2. Paper Mario: I'm an RPG fan and this series in addition to Super Mario RPG have such a unique charm behind them.

3. Main Super Mario series: This is perhaps the most consistently great series Nintendo has throughout the years

4. Zelda: Great mythology, sound gameplay, memorable characters, and pretty much is the granddaddy of all Action-RPGs

Least Favorable:

1. Donkey Kong: Less complaints of quality, rather than a lack of direction once Rare was sold.  Between the bongo drums on Gamecube and the side scrolling installments (I like DK Country Returns, just feel like the franchise deserves a true sequel to DK64) I'm a little tired of experiments and safe decisions with it

2. Metroid: I want to love Metroid, but it's one of those series I couldn't get into

3. Mario Party: I need to put a disclaimer here, I loved the first 3 titles, but everything after MP3 has been repetitive and actually has less features after it

4. Kirby: I like the fundamental gameplay, but Kirby games tend to be big experiments that are a little too out there or not ambitious enough

Favorite is Pokemon

Also love Animal Crossing, Zelda, Mario, Kirby, and Smash Bros. Probably missing a few others because I love most first party Nintendo franchises (Pretty much all but Fire Emblem and Metroid)
