Should story be done the same in most KH games or should it be done same as BBS & DDD?

Posted

I myself think it would be best if they made it multiple player(Not exactly like BBS & DDD just that all characters get there own story), but this is just an opinion of mine. What would you guys prefer. Should Sora be the only playable character or should all the 7 lights have a chance at the spotlight.

Should it be multiple characters or just mainly focus on Sora 20 members have voted

  1. 1. Multiple Characters, Sora, or Either one

    • Sora & Sora alone
    • Multiple characters(give all the 7 lights a glimpse of the spotlight)
    • Either one is okay with me.

Totally make it like BBS, the three characters being Sora, RIku and Kairi especially. She needs to be in the spotlight for crying out loud.

I don't like DDD or BBS's multiplayer system because with BBS you got a third of the story of each world, so you'd have to remember what you did in each world with a previous character after completing it and moving to the next to get all the story together (you could play as each, finish their part in e.g. Enchanted Dominion, move to another character, do their part in ED, etc, but a lot of people wouldn't bother)

In DDD I didn't know when in the story I should drop so there were times I was doing something with Riku, that could only have happened after Sora did something, yet I hadn't done that with Sora yet so I was getting a disjointed story.

I don't mind multiplayer, I think we should still get games that are just individual stories and one character though, I just think the time you change into another character during a multiplayer KH game should occur properly at set times so the story isn't broken or mismatched.

I see were you're getting at & I kinda agree, but frankly I still think that they should make it a multicharacter game. They just need to include at least 2 hrs long stories for each of the 7 lights & not switch the characters in the of their stories then everything will be great.

Like in KH2,sometimes you can play as other character, but Sora is the main playable character

I want every guardian to be playable even if some are just for one battle (ex: axel vs isa)

But I only want one story just like KH2. In KH2 we play with roxas, sora, mickey (in some battles when he lose )

and with riku for a moment in the final clash. I want something like that but with the 7.

These time the perfect character to start should be kairi.

The only problem I have with it being like BBS is that you would only a couple hours and then you'de know the end of the story. I think I would've like BBS better if you had to play through all the stories up to the Graveyard and then you could go through the Graveyard final battle with each person one at a time. If they make you play though lkike that where you play until the final battle then I would love it because, let's face it, BBS was really amazing

But its a hands down no for DDD. I didn't like HAVING to switch and not being able to grind. BBS was so much better

This is exactly what I'm expecting it to be like, and that would be perfect. That being said, I really wouldn't mind BBS style gameplay either. I just really want a long fun game!

Sora and Sora alone. Seriously. I would much rather have one really good story than a bunch of half-written, half-developed stories.

Who knows maybe if they do make it a multiple playable character game they may surprise us & make each story long & amazing.

I agree with you're opinion. However I still can't help but feel that there are some characters like Riku, Mickey, Terra, Aqua, & Ventus who should have there own story.

The main campaign should be focused on Sora and co... Have the other Lights join in on battles, but still have it focus on Sora.. Unless Sora is incapacitated like in KH2, then have it switch to another character. Then have post game content where you can fight as Lea/Kairi etc in multicharacter fights. I want a Kingdom Hearts game that rewards my multiple play throughs of each game, and not just by giving us trophies/secret ending/new difficulty levels. Having hidden chapters which involve each character would be good too.The character switching needs to be necessary to the story, not just fan service.

I think the main story should be 70% Sora and co., 10% Riku, 10% Kairi, 5% King Mickey, and 5% some other character (LEA... or Aqua cos boobs).

Also, multiplayer needs to be included. Have 12 or so "classes" based on each of the characters in the game (different play styles etc), make each character customisable, customisable Keyblades etc... Oh, yes, multiplayer must happen. I've been dreaming about that since KH2 :P

BBs executed it fairly well, I also loved the route they took In KH2, with you playing as, Roxas first.

i think sora should be the main character you play as but at certain parts of the game (maybe flashbacks or something) you get to play as other characters

The KH2 way.

I agree

I think it's going to revolve around multiple characters.

Sora should be the main playable character but they should put some short parts where you play as different characters. Like in the final battle of KH2, where you play as Riku. There should also be a mission mode or whatever like in Days where you can play as the other characters.

I think they should have it so you play has one character for some of the story then has another for another part of the story. Sort of like when a tv show or movie has multiple characters and they go back and forth between their stories
