I'm currently developing an animation for a school project. It's essentially a 5-minute pilot episode for a small series I might make, and it revolves about the friendship of three characters.

 

Eduardo(Edd)

 

Victor:

(Whose anatomy is really really bad in this)

...And Luis:

(Gotta fix that head shape)

The story begins when Luis and Victor pick up a "stray puppy", Edd. A boy who, for some reason, has trouble making friends and prefers to be alone minding and enjoying his own pleasures by himself. However, after meeting these two boys, he starts realizing how much having friends was important to him.

 

After some complications though, Edd and Luis end up having an argument and falling apart. The movie deals mostly with Eduardo's own conflicting feelings about this friend and his fear to lose Victor as well, while figuring out a way to solve his problems.

 

 

The video will be done in Portuguese by the end of the year(Around October/November), and then will be dubbed in English.

 

I'll update this thread with images and info about the movie, but feel free to check out the Facebook Page for the short, which although contains only information in Portuguese, has some pretty exclusive images and storyboards!

Edit: Also, I'm doing this completely on my own, aside from perhaps the voices. Usually the movie project is done in groups but I ended up having to do mine by myself.

Actually, this is my first try with it. I've made a few test clips, and they turned out alright. I'll make sure to be extra careful with the animation so that it flows well.

I know the basics, and I have the right means, so I think I won't have too much trouble.

As a school project, it's something that just came to me, because it was the best way to make a movie without actors. But I've been wanting to work on animation since last year!

I liked it. I think if you enjoy doing this then I suggest you go on with the project

Looks pretty nice! I suggest you fix the microphone that the person talks into so it doesn't sound like air is being blown into it :]
