Posted July 2, 201312 yr Such as I take one look at it's typing, and it's forever burned into my mind. I just look a pokemon and say "Oh! That Pokemon has this type!" Is it same for you guys, as well? Or does it take a while to remember?
July 2, 201312 yr I usually remember its type but sometimes I add other types, like how I continue to think that Luxray is a Dark Electric type when its just electric
July 2, 201312 yr I don't play pokemons but I know there are grass, fire, water, electric, ice, poison, flying, ground, bug, rock and steel types just from seeing people post about it once?
July 2, 201312 yr Just from their appearance, you can guess the primary type of most Pokemon. Fire pokemon have red or other warm colors, Grass pokemon are nature-y and plant-like, etc. The secondary types aren't immediately apparent, though. Slowbro looks pretty watery but you probably wouldn't tell it was part Psychic just from a glance. You probably can't tell Slowpoke is a water pokemon just from appearance, either (it could be Normal for all anyone knew). Memorizing their exact types just takes a little memorization and exposure, but it's not hard for me.
July 2, 201312 yr I base it off name. Usually, the name has something to do with an object (Say, Geodude. Geodude = Geode, which is a rock. Therefore, Rock type.) and I can derive it from there. Also, I have pretty good memory when it comes to this stuff..
July 2, 201312 yr I'm only catching up with Pokemon now! To tell the truth, i'm not good with names and sometimes get confused with some stuff, but I guess types are really revealed by how they are. Some of them could trick me, but I get most right
July 3, 201312 yr Yeah. I don't try to remember them, I just do. I wish I could do that with school... I have this uncanny ability to remember stuff that have to do with video games, but not school.

July 3, 201312 yr Weird...I guess I can, I've just literally never thought about it before. Some are tricky. Sneasel and Weavile used to trip me up.
