And taking the costume/weapon from arguably the best character in the FF franchise, and putting it on a charcter from FFXIII brings shame to Cloud. I think it mainly comes down to the fact that they are taking stuff from the most beloved games and putting it into games that no fans like. The costume makes me dislike the game because it shows the game itself is milking FFVII. I intend on playing LR but I just dont like what they have done.

No I mean most FF fans like you who prefer certain things for an FF game to be good, will most likely hate XIII is what i meant. But really it all comes down to opinion. Some people like the characters, while others think they're bland and too boring. Some people like the turn based combat, and others think its dumb.
