Question about Days ending sequence.

Posted

The part where Roxas is wielding the Dual keyblades and taking out the NeoShadows in one hit, is this the result of him being really powerful because he is determined  to get Xion? Or a result of the Heartless being weaker, because a friend told me it's the result of the heartless being weaker but I'm not so sure, does anyone know?

Story wise, he's more powerful.  In-game, the Heartless's stats were lowered so you can one-shot them all in order to prove how he's more powerful.

He's way more powerful. But what you're friend could have meant that they made those Heartless weaker in that section to give an idea of his boosted strength.

Yeah it's because he's stronger. Xion has merged with him and therefore given him the strength that she orignally absorbed from him. That combined with his determination to get her back would make him extra powerful.

Its because he got OP from getting angry at  org Xlll.

It's because he is more powerful. I mean..He is dual wielding after all. :P

If only he could of done that when taking on enemys LIKE LEECH GRAVE.

All through Days Roxas was sharing power with Xion .After Xion's death he was able to utilize his full power without sharing and on top of that the trauma of Xion's death awakened Ven's keyblade making him able to dual wield . So he had a shitload more power at that point. Nomura himself stated the point of that part of the ending was to showcase how much stronger Roxas was .

What she said^

Couldn't have said it any better.

Well...he DID kick Saiix's butt. So obviously it was the result of his strength

I know, I was more talking during the dual keyblade segment, he defeated Saix before that.

Yeah so Roxas was totally fueled!

yeah but that just shows how strong he had gotten. If he could beat Saiix, then a bunch of Neoshadows should be nothing for him

Anger fuels your frustration, and he was determined to get xion back. Like other said, he has gotten more powerful with results i the shadows seemingly weeker.

because he got freakin oblivion and oathkeeper

cause Roxas is now one with the cats

He became much stronger. Throughout Days Xion and Roxas were splitting their abilities, so when Xion grew stronger Roxas grew weaker; in essence, they were working on a half tank of gas. When Xion disappeared he got the other half of powers that he was missing. On top of that he was extremely determined, angry at the Organization, and probably awoke some power inside him.

They were using cutscene logic.
