Xer 670 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) When it all began one year ago... And everyone was excited... When the Mark of Mastery test had just begun to Sora and Riku... The light sinked into the darkness and the darkness returned into the light. You had all over 50 Spirit Dream Eaters to help you through your adventure.. When the Meow Wow obsession began! When Lea came back, and showed us the most light side of his. When the pure epicness began, of this game. One year ago already ( Released into Europe , First International Release ) Edited July 21, 2013 by Xer 2 _The Door To Light_ and Stefan93 reacted to this

Rob 5,571 Posted July 21, 2013 You just reminded me of my anger when I found out Europe was getting KH3D weeks before NA.( ._.) Ah, back when 3DS games were being released in PAL regions first. What a weird time that was.

Terraforce777 19 Posted July 21, 2013 Wow, wierd to think it's been a year already. Still feels like the game was overrated though.I agree. Not sure if it was the flowmotion, or the "do-nothing" dream eaters, but I felt that 3D was an okay experience at best. Not like it even had a chance at surpassing BBS or KH2 anyway 1 Mog reacted to this
juma086 263 Posted July 21, 2013 KH3D is my second favorite game in the series. Only losing to KH2, which is one of my favorite games of all time. Flowmotion is amazing. I hope it comes back in KH3, but not as flashy.

Not like it even had a chance at surpassing BBS or KH2 anyway I disagree. I believe, in my opinion, that Kingdom Hearts 3D was the best game of the Kingdom Hearts series ( Awaiting for Kingdom Hearts III ). The flowmotion gave life to the game, made the experience even funnier and enjoyable. Do nothing? My friend, you have not made Dream Eaters useful. Dream Eaters were thee most useful thing in ages. Try comparing Goofy and Donald from Kingdom Hearts I to Dream Eaters. You had link attacks and the flowmotion even gave you more.

Not like it even had a chance at surpassing BBS or KH2 anyway Definitely. Probably because the game basically had no plot until the last 5 minutes. I bought a 3ds for the game because the trailers made it look epic, but then I played it and it was meh at best. I only have managed to complete one full playthrough of it in the last year. Whereas when BBS came out, I couldn't put it down. I played all 3 versions of the game plenty of times each and I think it's one of the best up there with KH1 and 2. They just couldn't recreate the same magic with 3D. Edited July 21, 2013 by Mog 1 Terraforce777 reacted to this

In fact I just beat it on Critical earlier this year for the first time and it was AWESOME. Still can't beat those scret bosses though...I disagree. That king meow wow made contact with the enemy approximately 30% of the time while I couldn't really rely on my seal dream eater either. But I will admit that the Cyber Yog was a godsend! My only problem with flowmotion is that it made me feel overpowered, and there were times when you literally had no choice but to use it. Just my opinion. It was a fun experience, but BBS still beats it by miles IMO.

I haven't played BBS in a while (mainly because I added some textures to the file and that made it v glitchy) but I'm definitely going to give final mix another run soon. I enjoyed the dream eater aspect somewhat, but it became very annoying having to bloody tap the damn screen a hundred times to power them up and gain ap and stuff, pretty daunting. I didn't really enjoy the flowmotion aspect either. BBS does remain supreme. D-Links seemed an also lot more fun than dream eaters, not to mention you actually had people to help you in battles such as Mickey and characters like that occasionally, it just felt closer to the KH experience than dream eaters did. I enjoyed the Dream Eater aspect somewhat, but I think they implemented it in a way different from what I felt it should have been. As far as BBS, I enjoyed both the command styles and the d-links as they felt like faster and more personalized versions of forms and summons from KH2. The game as a whole felt personalized with the implementing of Dlinks, command styles, command decks, finishers, and plenty of filler from the command board to the various minigames. It was an overall awesome KH experience.Btw, how is BBS final mix? I was considering investing in it, but only if it was worth it. Is there a lot of difference, and how much better is it in comparison to the original?

SHAZOW 269 Posted July 21, 2013 Least you got a cool Mark of Mastery edition, we weren't even given the chance to spend more money on it I would have just bought the mark of mastery and sell the copy of it on ebay and when its sold, buy it again for my region. Is there a lot of difference, and how much better is it in comparison to the original? Yeah, I really enjoyed the command styles, especially the character specific ones. The ones Riku uses in 3d seem like cheap copy and pastes imo. The D-Links were such a good subsitute for summons, considering the psp apparently had trouble running proper summons. Felt really personal and you could choose the right d-link for the situation too, or if the d-link special abilities (like float, or double exp) were needed in a situation. The character specific d-links were neat too! Characters like Pete or Zack just give you more satisfaction that some random fluffy dream eater. About final fix, it has some few additions, Pete as a d-link, maybe another keyblade or two, differently coloured heartless etc. What really makes it shine are the new bosses in the colliseum; No Heart and Armour of the Master. Really challenging boss battles and I still haven't beat No Heart to this day. The secret episode is really epic as well, it feels ominous and you get to use Eraqus' keyblade which I found to be a nice treat for the fans. I'm not sure if you'll be able to enjoy it as well as I did considering the text is in Japanese and that I had an english patch on it..
