I have to say this is by far THE BEST HD collection I've ever played,seriously.I'm not saying that because I'm a KH fanboy,but because this collection is really great in terms of production.It's right up there with the MGS collection(I think it's even better than the MGS collection) and it's much much much much MUCH better than some disasters of a collection like the ZOE collection and the Silent Hill collection(both of which were worse than the Ps2 version)........Kojima....take note for your ZOE crappy collection.

 

 

The graphics looks amazing in HD and the models look beautiful,the framerate is smooth and I never had a slowdown yet,the camera issues that was in the first game has been fixed,the cutscenes of 3582 Days looks beautiful as well and the voice acting for them is good so far.

 

The only complaint I have is the remixes for the KH1 soundtrack.While they're good for the most part,but I bet you heard of "If it ain't broke,don't fix it",I prefer the original soundtrack over the remixes but that's just me.

 

 

Again,this is just my opinion and experience and I don't force it on anyone.So,how's the collection with you so far???

Man,I sadly report that I DO NOT have the game YET.But as soon as I get it I have the feeling that I'll agree with you 100%.Well,almost since I really like the remastered soundtrack.Originals may be better but these remixes bring more freshness into the game.

I too think that this is one of the greatest HD collections that there has been, and I personally love how the high definition graphics really immerse oneself into the game.  The graphics are beautiful, the colors are vivid, the audio is essentially crystal clear, and the gameplay is awesome.  I'm playing through Final Mix, and so far, I have no complaints, and I shall not have any complaints because it is Kingdom Hearts for the PS3, and that alone makes it awesome.

 

And on a side note, I noticed the remixes of some of the musical themes of the game, and I agree, the old ones sound better, but hey, the new ones aren't that bad either.  Cheers to 1.5!!!

They just thought that the soundtracks needed a remaster too. Even though some of us dont like it, no one cant deny  that square put a lot of effort into this remake. And maybe who knows, since people are used to the old ones so much, in the future can think the opposite.

I agree 100%. I have played multiple HD Remasters and this is by far the best one. KHFM really benefitted from having the KH3D models added in. The cutscenes look gorgeous. The facial expressions are so much better than the original. The new updated music is stunning as well. It adds so much more life to the game.

I'm also having a blast with KH1.5,the only thing that disappoint so far its that they removed a lot of great scenes in 358 Days,I think there's only like 3 scenes outside of Twilight Town and The World That Never Was.Maybe its because I didn't play the original KH1,but to me the remastered soundtrack in wonderful

I'm LOVING this game. We FINALLY have KHFM, and in 1080p!? Too good to be true. Such an amazing feeling after wondering all these years if this day would come. I'm playing it on a big 39" screen. It's fantastic.

 

KH 2.5 is going to be AMAZING.

I think its a great remake. The only thing that slightly disappoints me is the Days cutscenes. The voices don't match the movements of the mouth. It's not such a big deal but yeah, other than that, i love everything about it and i am very pleased with it

The only thing that I'll hate is some of the heartless new look.

I prefer the original Heartless colors too! I thought I was the only one, haha.

 

KH looks great in HD. With some of these remasters the graphics wind up looking clearer, but a clearer view of a muddy texture isn't necessarily a good thing. KH's style lends itself to being upgraded very nicely. 

The only slowdowns I've seen so far are from the battle with Maleficent Dragon. It's a really great collection.

Here is why the Zone of the Enders HD collection sucks:

 

Bad framrate

 

Cutscenes have horrible delay in the subtitles to the point the cutscene will freeze until the subtitle ends

 

some unexpected glitches and controls issues.

 

None of these problems were in the Ps2 version at all and you can see comparisons on youtube

 

Kojima clearly didn't give a f.uck about ZOE because it's not Metal Gear,heck the Metal Gear Rising Demo is more polished than the entire collection itself,Kojima knew people would eat it because they'll buy it for the MGR demo.

 

But nope,people are absolutely fine with that because it's Kojima,and Kojima is GOD in their eyes

It fixed some of the issues but not all of them,same thing with the Silent Hill patch

 

And the patch came waaaaay to late,proving my point that Kojima doesn't give a f.uck about anything that doesn't have Metal Gear in it's name
