Flowmotion:Great addition or Annoying Distraction?

Posted

yeah so i wasn't around during the release of the game to gauge whenever or not Flowmotion was received well.

so, i ask it now:was flowmotion a good addition to the game or should'nt they have bothered with it?

I thought it was fun to use. One gripe I had with the series was how slow your character moved. Flowmotion made it easy and fast to get around. And you can grind on rails like Sonic

It was really fun if you ask me . I wasn't sure at first how i would feel about it till i tried it . Then I was like, 'firetruck yeah ! " lolz

I felt pretty euphoric when I used it for the first time to get a chest on a high up ledge, haha xD

It was alot of fun throughout the whole game for me and I played the first KH right after it. I missed flowmotion so much and it's the same when I play other KH games now lol I miss it there. It would be great to see a more evolved version in KHIII, if you ask me. And I'm pretty sure it will be there.

I doubt you can say it's an annoying distraction, since you don't have to use it, and since it can be vital for getting all the chests and accessing some areas.

That siggy... cool.

Anyway: ANNNNNOYING!

Was fighting the damn ape thing in Traverse Town, and stupid Riku kept bouncing off the walls everytime I got to close.

Flowmotion wasn't that great of an addition to KH. >.<

I doubt you can call it a distraction since you can literally turn it off. Regardless it's firetrucking awesome.

It is one of the best gameplay elements in a Kingdom Hearts game so far ^^ I loved it

I dug that shit. Thought it was hella fun to use. And it didn't cheapen the game like Reaction Commands... it added something without detracting from the difficulty.

I thought it was good. It allows me to get around the areas more quicker, and escape incoming attacks.

When I first saw the flow motion, I was like: man this Nomura gonna ruin KH by turning it into Sonic the Hedgehog!.

I was afraid that most of the game will only depends on flow motion, but when I played the game everything was completely changed.

I liked the idea a lot, as a welcoming new feature. I am sure that if they used it again they would add more things on it like for instance adding elements to it instead of only the purple/ pinky light around him like the Action Commands in BBS when u merge it with magic elements.

I can go to the next area without touching the ground once.

Both

I thought it was the shit, bouncing around with acrobatic grace, glowing pink and adding about 3 to 5 additional attack commands to Sora and Riku! Flowmotion is so simple yet effective. I even cursed my muscle memory the last few weeks while playing Final Mix and ReCoM because I always feel tempted to activate Flowmotion but I realise I can't. RoxSox is right to, it doesn't make fights feel as cheap as Reaction commands. That said I loved Reaction commands in KHII
