Maleficient's Dragon Form: this has been bothering me for a while

Posted

In Birth By Sleep, Maleficient goes Dragon form to fight Aqua. This is confusing since she went Dragon form in the first one with Riku/Ansem's help. Ansem didn't appear at the bridge before the castle to stab her in the chest or anything, so how did she go dragon form before Riku/Ansem had awoken it?
this is probably just another case of nomura-logic but I had to ask

I guess after a while she just lost sight of the darkness...

"Nomura logic" can't be the answer to everything. Fact of the matter is, this series contradicts itself & doesn't make as much sense as it should. It's a shame that they have this AMAZING story, but just abuse it. Everything seemed to make sense up to KH2, then they started changing stuff. I love KH, it's my favorite series, but some things just don't make sense.

Fool. I think the one from Kingdom Hearts was a forced transformation.  As in she was overflowing with so much power that she just had to transform.

Maleficent can control the Dragon form, as she did in BBS, but in KH1 the change was brought on by having the darkness overwhelm her upon having her heart undone by the Keyblade of Heart......................... I think.

FFS go watch "Sleeping Beauty"

Yeah I think the one in KH1 was forced. She would have been full of darkness and becoming her dragon form would probably enhanced her power.

the way i see it, Maleficent can use her dragon form whenever she wants. When Riku/Ansem stabs her with the Keyblade of People's Hearts it pretty much grants huge a huge boost in the power of darkness so she decides to go dragon mode to exploit this power.

I think she was too weak from getting owned in KH 1 so Riku had to help her out and kinda forced her to change forms while in BBS she just wanted to win so she transformed to try and beat Aqua

OMG! NOOOOO one knows this?

It's Sleeping Beauty: it's supposed to be Maleficent's original transformation from the film.

ADD ON: The part where the Prince is headed towards the castle to rescue Aurora is the

part you play in Aqua's story. Just an FYI: BBS contains the full film plots of Aurora,

Snow White, and Cinderella, ten years before KH begins.

It's insinuated this occurs only briefly before Maleficent takes them, and that they had been

in Hollow Bastion for nine years.

SMH...it's like people haven't watched Sleeping Beauty here

Maleficient gave me nightmares as a kid...she was scary as firetruck...from the moment when she says Aurora is gonna die when just before she turns 16 by pricking her finger in a spindle of a spinning wheel(but the blue fairy changes it from Death to Deep Sleep) to her spying with her raven bird,to her killing her minion thingies just like that to her turning into a motherfiretrucking huge-ass dragon and making that terrifying forest to prevent Philip from getting to her(man that scene scared me then with all the moving plants and all)

Best Disney Villian of All Time hands down

Too bad Angelina Jolie is gonna ruin her in the upcoming prequel

Ok, SMH means?

Second.... I used to have nightmares from Maleficent bad enough that my mom hid the tape.

I'd just find it to watch again.

Maleficent makes every other villian look tame.

Except Oogie Boogie, because he kicks ass.

SMH=Scratching my Head

Well...except for the Coachman from Pinocchio...nobody can top his creepyness...he turns little boys into donkeys, tortures them, sells them,we never know what happens to them and he gets away with it...that is just insane...I always had that unnerving feeling after seeing that scene and watching the rest of the film and then wondering what happened to the other kids

Oh and if you missed my small text...Angelina Jolie is totally gonna ruin Maleficient in the Prequel T_T
