This was probably the best thing I have ever seen... ever. It beats everything. I'm still in shock. I wrote down my experiences after I watched the episodes, and this is how it went. (Note: There will be a general review AFTER this one, featuring spoilers. HOWEVER, this review not in spoilers, is spoiler free.)Episode One: I don't know what this feeling is... It's almost like I'm experiencing playing Pokémon Red for the first time - all over again! Not only that, but Pokémon - The Origin gives me a complete sense of believability. Unlike watching the traditional Animé, I feel like I'm actually living in the world WITH Red. Battles, compared to that of the Animé, are extremely intense, once again, giving me the believable feeling. I feel the terror, I feel the excitement! This truly is great so far. Can't wait to see the next episode!Episode Two: I still have chills! The creepiness of the beginning of the episode lingers. They set the scene perfectly, giving off the perfect nerve for the show! Not only was the setting perfect, but the emotions! I was almost in tears after the first few minutes! The way the portray the events occurring is truly fantastic. On to the next episode!Episode Three: This was an exhilarating episode. Giving me nearly the same feelings I had when watching the first one, refreshing that believability feeling. Once again, I feel like I'm right beside Red all the way through the challenges that he is confronted with!Episode Four: This is it, the final episode of Pokémon - The Origin. This is the greatest episode of anything I have ever seen ever. This tops everything I've seen, read, played, or experienced. I can't get over the high-intensity of the battles! The mystery, the discovery, the... Well everything! I just can't get over it. I never will. I MUST BUY THIS!SPOILER REVIEW:
Alright, so here is what I love. - The soundtrack is absolutely beautiful! - The Battles are highly involving! - The Animation was beautiful! - The story was brilliant! - Rating 10/10DetailsReds adventure with Charizard was amazing. Fighting Giovanni, rivaling Green, everything. What I love about this Giovanni is that he is more human than before. While in Pokémon Red, he did honor Red, in this version, he honors him more than anything. They give you his reactions and memories, making him remember what he used to be. It was fantastic! Now, lets talk about Green. I love what they've done. While in the game, they make Green seem like a negative Rival, in Pokémon Origins, he is a humanistic rival. Red and Green are more like best friends than anything else, and it really builds up on his likability scale. Greens reaction to his loss at Indigo Plateau was accurate, feeling bad for losing, but happy for his friend! Eventually, you see negativity building inside him. He took MewTwo from him, and his championship title. However, he'll get over it.The relationship between Mew, MewTwo, and the Pokédex was great. Giving legitimate reasons as to why the only accepted Pokémon was the first 149 was great, and adding MewTwo as 150 on the Pokédex later was great. The ending was perfect, IMO. His adventure is never over! Now, he must catch mew!NEGATIVE THINGS:While the pros outweigh the cons, we can't ignore them. The battle between Red and Green was too short. Of course, the outcome made it acceptable, but I believe they should've added a 5th episode for everything after the Red vs Green battle, giving us a chance to spend more time watching the heated battle!Secondly, the revealing of MewTwo was not dramatic enough. The encounter was flat out presented to us, not giving enough mystery. BUT ONCE AGAIN, it was paid off by the heated battle between Mega-Charizard and MewTwo. This cons are almost null and void by how well these four simple episodes collided making the greatest Pokémon saga we've seen.
In conclusion: This was a really great experience, and I could watch a thousand times over without getting bored! I can't wait for the English release!
