Sora's Keyblade DID NOT change into two pistols in KH3 trailer!

Posted

There's a lot of misconception about it, but if you look closely you'd notice that they video changed to a different part of the footage.

They switched footage but I'm pretty sure they're trying to show that different weapon/weapon types will be used

I don't know, it looks more like they just changed/reset the camera position (you know, R3?). Besides, even if they changed to a different part, that's a bit too much speculation to throw into a rapidly moving gameplay video where you can only make out half of what's going on. I'm not saying that you're wrong, just that there's too little information at this point and it is too soon to start speculating over particular details. It's like having a foggy mirror. Instead of just rubbing a "window" into the mirror, let's wait for the whole mirror to clear up first.

they sort of look like the pistols at the lazertag arena at the Japanese Disney land. they have sea salt ice cream there too!

Look at these screenshots. The HUD changed, which leads me to believe that the pistols are a summon or a d-link from Birth By SleepPosted ImagePosted Image

I'd say it's safe to assume that he's using some sort of limit for the dual pistols, and for everything else throughout the video.  I wouldn't go too far as to say that we can just turn the keyblade into dual pistols at anytime, but he does transform them in this limit, no doubt about that, but i'm still confused as to how he activated this limit, seeing as how the command bar doesn't change at all.

I agree. I find it a bit odd.

Well its not the first time a person's keyblade changed shape/form.Look at terra in Kh2:FM and you'll c multiple iterations.Whip, bow, fist gauntlet, etcetera.....i could be wrong.

I think it's safe to say that the idea's out there, but none of this will be in the final version of gameplay. Why do I say this? KH3 was planned to make an appearance at Disney 23 Expo Japan. This was the first time the expo has happened in Japan. Most of the stuff in the trailer was homage to Disneyland.

It might be a keyblade transformation but they haven't made a animation for a "Transformation"
