When attacked in a dream how do you react and what usually happens?

Posted

I wanted to know if anyone has had bad dreams where you fight back and become a badass, so if you do fight back what is your means of combat?

I now summon a Keyblade in dreams where I have to fight but when I was a kid I used to dream up a Longsword with a blue crystal in the hilt that was a sun like the daggers from Power Ranger Wild Force and then it had a extendable and retractable blade.

I fight back...I find a weapon or see my enviroment and begin to fight for my life....

It can be a pipe, knife, anything and I will find ways to use it...

Whenever I fight back in dreams it's with my bare hands, or a knife that i had hidden somewhere. But i always end up losing a limb or dying.

I just either let the scenario run through, or stop the dream and restart. I vivid dream

I usually get shot by an arrow or something while trying to save everyone from themselves. I've never actually tried to hurt people back in my dreams that I remember. Even in zombie dreams I end up being the brains rather than the tank. Though this one time I was a cherry and I had to fend off my pet duck with a twig until it shrunk back to regular size...

I generally just run. When I do fight, it usually ends badly. Though I did once manage to take, like, eight musket shots to the chest. It sucked, but didn't die.

Muskets?  o.o

I've honestly never heard that one before.

What was the dream about? Out of curiosity.

In dreams where I have to fight back I don't have a weapon and my arms feel like noodles in outer space, but in dreams where I initiate the fight I have a weapon of some sorts.

In my dreams when I'm attack my brain enters a mode when it looks at the environment and tries to take advantages of the place and then I think of a way to make a fast weapon or tried to find something to inflict pain towards the killer. my dreams always end in a to be continue but they never show the next part. the last part is usually me getting badly injured and reflecting on my past and making it into some corny sad moral thing and then finding some unknown strength to protect the things that matter

I run when I'm attacked...sometimes I die. I don't actually see myself dying but like I know it's going to happen and I wake up...Like if someone pushes me off a cliff in a dream I'll wake up just before I hit the ground. Literally, I'll wake up like a second before I die.

I often go into into the dreams of worlds and defeat all of the nightmares and find the keyhole in the world and seal it with my keyblade.

I lucid dream quite a bit, so if i'm in that sort of situation is usually just use the force to throw them through a few walls, pull out my keyblade, summon mushu, throw my nuclear batarang and wake up.

I use my fists because everything is like zero gravity and I have crazy arm and leg strength.

last time I remembered a dream where I was attacked I just ran for it.

Since I don't really remember all of my dreams and I don't normally have to fight in my dreams, I wouldn't know. But I have been a Pokemon Trainer in a dream and was literally Sora, like I was the role that he has in Kingdom Hearts, where I was totally in a Kingdom Hearts game, and I really think it was Kingdom Hearts 3.

I wake up. I've had dreams where I'm being kicked in the face, in a crashing vehicle, falling from a height, and the like... and whenever the moment of impact is when I wake up with a pretty sickening jump.

Basically how my dreams end out but mines seem to end with me leaving like nothings happended...

It happened after I had been playing a lot of Mount & Blade: Napoleonic Wars, so my dream was basically just running with the show. We were defending a gate to a fort, and for what ever reason, in spite of the other guys totally being right in front of me, I couldn't hit them at all. But did they have the same apparent problems? Noooooooooo.....

Michael Bay style car chase minus the boobs. Somtimes.

I never know that I'm in a dream, so I usual react how I would irl: I scream, run, and ask the question: dear god why me? Then I wake up feeling like an idiot because I should've known that it wouldn't happen irl.

Note: I have outrageous, nonsensical dreams.

I react differently in different situations.Vampire dream, I end up getting captured by some vampires (probably more so "scientific" ones than mystical), they start running an experimental process at me. And some of the stuff they injected me with heightened my senses, increased my agility, and gave me telekinesis. Though I mostly was just doing surprise attacks and running away.

Slenderman, I tried fighting him with blood bending. D: (note: this didn't work in the dream and it felt weird)Slenderman, pfft chasing me in a dream, how pathetic, I just brought out my battle dream self and trapped him and his hell-hounds in crystal ring boxes. (Yes, a couple times I dreamt he had two hellhounds with him.)But anyways the common trend is if I am fighting with an axe in the dream, I am fighting with an axe in the dream. If it is a sword, it is a sword. If it is supernatural powers it is supernatural powers. I usually I can't "react" and chose my own path in my dreams, I have to watch the story I am supposed to see. And if I DO try to alter it, I normally wake up in an instant. (altering it can be something as simple as looking left when I am supposed to keep on looking forwards)

Woke up. Went to pee. Head on back to bed and enjoy an entirely different dream.
