Hey everyone, how's it going?  Right now I'm about to go to class, so forgive me if this topic isn't as in-depth as my other topics, lol.  Anyways, I just wanted to point out something interesting concerning Sora.  In Deep Jungle, when he sees a certain slide in the Camp tent, he says that he could have sworn he'd been there before.  Could that slide have reminded him of Land of Departure?  Why do you think that I think this?  Well, because Ventus is in his heart, so that's why Sora has that sense of nostalgia.  Also, when he arrives to Hollow Bastion, he feels a warmth in his heart, again, making my point that it's Ventus reacting inside him, making him feel nostalgia when Sora enters this world.  And also, at the very end, before the final battle with Ansem, Sora says that the voice he heard is so familiar.  So I figured that again, it was Ventus reacting inside him, recognizing Mickey's voice.  And since Sora was the only one that could hear the voice, that only proves my point.  And yeah, that's pretty much about it.  I know Nomura may not have read way too deep into it back in 2002, but one can't help but wonder if he had the idea for Ventus from a longer time back.  I know most of you may know this, but I just wanted to point it out.  Thanks for reading, and tell me what you think! ^_^

Her heart saw and experienced what Sora did while inside him and those are her hearts memories responding. Remember where she was from ? Yep. As for mickey's voice, sora would remember since mickey was the one talking to him in the beginning of kh1 as well so yes he would recognize it

these are Roxas's feelings traveling through Sora they may of been seperated at that point in time but in ways the two were still very much connected

During this game, Twilight Town is presented as being: “A town built out of the memories of Sora’s otehr side.”

Yes. But, let’s just say it’s not a town that is in Sora’s own memories. It’s not that Sora has any memory of that town but… hmmmm… there is a link. It is a very important part in KH2 so it’s difficult to explain.

Nomura: It’s a gradual process. When Kingdom Hearts was in production, I was considering ideas for Kingdom Hearts II and Chain of Memories. And when those two were in production, I was thinking of ideas for the next three, 358/2 Days, Coded, and Birth by Sleep.

Nomura: KH3D was put together relatively quickly, I was still concepting the story when I brought it to the table.

Departure ***  Also, the whole point of transforming that world was to hide it away and protect it and Ven . So Ven himself has no memories of this place as it currently stands due to his heart being asleep and never seeing CO himself since it was transformed after Ven's heart left to be with Sora again to heal and his empty shell left in sleep in CO

 

Also, when Sora was in CO Ven's heart was in Roxas the entire time till Roxas returned to Sora in KH2

From what I remember it's either meant to be Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion's castle, and Kairi's heart in Sora remembers (remember she's also in Sora at this point), and some have suggested it's any of the castles in BBS (Enchanted Dominion's castle, Cinderella's Castle, Land of Departure Castle, Disney Castle etc etc) and it's Ven remembering but I think at the time it was meant to hint Kairi's inside him or foreshadow it, if it's changed now to Ven it's just another vague detail left open to make it look like it was planned all along.

I didn't know that, actually. I never was able to get to the secret stuff in BBS because my PSP broke shortly after beating the main story. 

It's Kairi's heart inside him remembering Hollow Bastion, which was Kairi's previous home. Ven and them weren't even an idea at that point in time, so I highly doubt it was him.

It's assumed he came with the idea some time during KHII. Xigbar even outright says, "You three don't look half the heroes the others were." He's referring to Terra, Aqua, and Ven, of course.

You know I was always wondering why he said he'd seen that castle in Deep Jungle on the slide. Your point of view makes complete sense, I never thought of it that way. I think you are right about Ventus reacting in Sora's heart!

That's Roxas's memory, since Roxas has just been created and Sora and Roxas are connected. So this is why Sora thought he's been there before, cause Roxas was there before Sora.

True but remember nobodies don't have hearts, they can create one in the process. Ven's heart has never left sora body. Roxas took ventus form not his heart. That's why in KH3D sora told roxas that he was his own person with his own heart. If Roxas would have taken ventus heart he would have had ventus memories. However he was obtaining sora's memories. Ergo Roxas took the form of the other side of Sora's heart (ventus.) Same thing happend in BBS with Vanitas once he was extracted from ventus he took the other side of ventus heart (sora) which in a sense was the damaged part of ventus heart due to the darkness extraction. Actually no . Roxas had Ven's heart inside him bc he was Sora's physical body and Ven's heart stayed in Sora's body. This is confirmed by Nomura YEARS ago. Ven's heart only took refuge in Sora- their hearts weren't merged like AX with Terra and MX. Ven's heart was dormant or 'asleep' and Roxas did not have ANY of his memories and was born 'like a zombie' . This is why he didn't have any memories when he was born. Sora kept his memories as a 'walking heart' bc he spent such little time as a heartless and was purified and given human form through Kairi. Roxas still had Sora's physical body. Over time though because Xion and him were slowly getting Sora's memories it made it necessary for them to both return to Sora for him to be awakened. Roxas also grew his own separate heart eventually as well which is why Sora told him he was his own person as confirmed in DDD

In short, he viewed more of life from the eyes of Ventus, Kairi, Xion and Roxas.
