CROW 115 Posted November 2, 2013 So I believe it's time for Xemnas to get serious. I mean, let's review the previous battles against him. In the battle in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, he obviously was holding back a very huge amount of his real strength to test Sora. (although he was far more challenging than in KH2, due to him being an optional boss I guess) Also, I think somewhere was mentioned Xemnas is the strongest being in Kingdom Hearts, but he was, in fact, defeated by Sora and Riku at the end of KH2. That was probably (since I don't know if that is confirmed, so I go by common sense) due to Xemnas holding back again and actually wanted to be defeated for known reasons (recompletion of Xehanort and all). In KH3D it is obvious Xemnas was fighting Sora to weaken him, so darkness could get a better hold of him. So yeah, fighting full strength here would be nonsense, and it was even very obvious he was pretty relaxed while fighting. Means, he was again, not fighting for real. And now Kingdom Hearts 3 is on it's way (a long, long, long way, yes) and at least in my opinion there is no more reason for Xemnas to hold back at all. So will we have an epic boss battle against the real thing? Against the strongest being in Kingdom Hearts and this time at it's full strength? Would be pretty cool if that happened and also if it were even harder than the battle against him in KHFM (only assuming here, never fought him, so no way to know on my part). Thoughts? Kaweebo 3,617 Posted November 2, 2013 I've always wondered - are the (big) boss fights of KHIII going to be against all of the individual disciples of Xehanort looking like themselves, or as the clones they are meant to be? Was that ever explained? I never played King Dedede.
Axeken 181 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) I think that Xemnas gave it pretty much everything he had against the gang. Turning the Castle That Never Was into a Dragon, using Master Xehanort's Keyblade Armour, transforming his black coat black and white, I'm pretty sure he fought to his dying breath. Xemnas did mention he wanted to rebuild Kingdom Hearts and tried to kill the gang in order to do so. Maybe he did accept his fate to return as MX but damn if that wasn't he full power, I'd hate(love) to see what is. Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted November 2, 2013 Personally I think he was giving it his all just as Ansem and every other final boss in the series was. But for a final battle in Kingdom Hearts III, I really want to fight ALL THIRTEEN VERSIONS OF XEHANORT before the final boss phases. This final battle needs to be EPIC!! ultimumknight 89 Posted November 2, 2013 I want to have the option of fighting bosses with no companions. I want to fight Xemnas in KH3 with just Sora alone unlike in KH2.
JTD95 1,108 Posted November 2, 2013 What we need is a real battle agianst Ansem. That dude always forces his Guardian to do all the work and barely lifts a finger himself. 1 Ultimus Grid reacted to this

Still I think it's really hard to tell if he was serious and at his strongest, but somehow I doubt it. What we need is a real battle agianst Ansem. That dude always forces his Guardian to do all the work and barely lifts a finger himself. That's true. In KHI he was painfully easy, but he was very hard in KH3D (2nd battle). I'd like to see what his own power can do.

At least one fight with just him, no using the thing. 1 juma086 reacted to this
Axeken 181 Posted November 2, 2013 Yes. At least one fight with just him, no using the thing. I think the closest we' got to fighting Ansem by himself was the fight with Ansem-Riku in front of the keyhole, hooded Riku-Ansem with the bees and the fights with Terra-Xehanort in BbS. In KHIII, his fight will be "hey look. It's like how you fought him in the first game; with a bodyguard."

But if Xehanort can't be defeated he can recreate them as clones. It is actually pretty stupid.
Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted November 2, 2013 I just summoned Tinkerbell and wailed away at him with no strategy, 10/10 much easy. KH2 Xemnas was a bit more intimidating, with some of the reaction commands that were either, hard to get, or understand, and the amount of times he completely slides out of your lock-on. ZOBLIVION 13 Posted November 2, 2013 Nah, he was going all out in KH2, but even he couldn't beat two keyblade wielders, especially when the two have some pretty incredible teamwork going on.
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted November 2, 2013 I think after he absorbed Kingdom Hearts in KH2 he was going all out . He also almost beat Sora and Riku if you think about it . If Riku wasn't there to rescue Sora from that one move that drains his hp he would've been a goner . Riku also was injured in that battle and they needed each other to defeat him . Xemnas is no joke
CROW 115 Posted November 2, 2013 Okay, okay you convinced me. He probably WAS going all out in KH2. I will change the way I say it then. In KH3, I want Xemnas to go all out and maybe even more than in KH2, but this time only 1-on-1 against Sora, not Sora and Riku. Cause, Xemnas is more or less Sora's nemesis, while Ansem is Riku's. We had that 1-on-1 three times (KHFM, KH2 first battle and KH3D) but in these three battles he really didn't go all out, so yeah, you get my point. I want everything they can possibly give of my favorite KH boss o/
