November 12, 201311 yr It's true. One of the flaws (in my opinion) is that no character really dies. It takes quite a bit of the weight off the story.

I think it holds just as much impact. The mere idea of being turned into a Heartless or becoming completely forgotten by yourself and everyone is pretty close to being dead, and wandering through the Realm of Darkness could be comparable to wandering through the lands of Hell. In fact, we should be expecting Aqua's Inferno any day now...

November 12, 201311 yr When you lose all of your HP in Kingdom Hearts, Sora simply has his heart ripped out of his body on the continue screen. That does not cause or relate to death in any way. Edited November 12, 201311 yr by Rush

November 12, 201311 yr lol I'm reminded of a line from the movie 'The Return of Jafar' in regards to Genie Jafar not being able to kill anyone "You'd be surprised what you can live through" Still quite unpleasant. As for no one dying in the Kingdom Hearts universe, what about Master Eraqus? Was he not "struck down?"
