I sorta found it in my brothers girlfriends stuff.

It was either the Christmas after it came out in America or the next Christmas after that, my dad got it for my brother and I. We had seen commercials and then I had watched my cousin play through Destiny Islands at one point. I thought the action and art was really cool and I begged my dad for it.

16 years old, born in 1997, introduced to the series in 2005 by my Cousin who let me play it on his PS2, been hooked since

My  cousin bought it, I played it with him, I liked it, so my mom bought it for me.

For (How did you know KH) part.Well, my father brought it to me as a gift after he went to an outside country. He brought two original games and one of them is Kingdom Hearts. So I was lucky that day

Originally bought KH2 for my brother who never got past Roxas. I re-discovered it years later on Christmas Eve and love it from then on. I vaguely remember seeing 1 or 2 commercials for KH2 on Disney 365 years ago.

born in 1995. saw a commercial for KH on TV when I was six. my mom bought it for me for Christmas, back in 2002.

And a friend talked me into it.

I actually bought Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2 on 2007 Christmas . I did not even know what the game was all about . But I loved it when I first played it .

I found about it by complete coincidence when I was looking for Mario Power Tennis on the Gamecube in 2006 and I've been hooked to the series ever since that day

1999.

 

I found it because i got a 3DS and saw a demo for 3D on the Eshop. I played it and fell in love with it, then got the physical copy at launch and got hooked on the series since then.

I'm in the early '90s bracket, and had purchased one of the Kingdom Hearts games for my kid sister.  I thought, "Hey, she loves Final Fantasy; maybe she'll dig this, too."  I didn't think much about the series after that.  Later, however, my sister comes to me saying, "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!  You simply MUST play this game!  You would love it!"  And I, being the arrogant older sibling that I am, scoffed and disregarded it for months.  I think it was after watching some 358/2 Days cutscenes over her shoulder that my interest in the game was piqued, and I finally, finally . . . FINALLY thought I'd give it a chance.  So, there I was, grumbling as I flipped on the game and made it through the introductory stages of Re:coded, and . . . what do you know?  Three or four years later I'm a loyal fan.

 

Life. *shakes head* : P

My cousin's best friend would come over often and bring his games, one of which was Kingdom Hearts. He let my cousin borrow it for a few months and I really got into it, so much so I bought my own copy when I had my own PS2. I had also heard the name floating around with my friends at school, but I never asked about it.

Disney and action RPG elements mixed together made it stand out.

I saw my friend playing KH1 and it looked like a lot of fun so I decided to try it out.

I'm the only one who voted showing interest in kh for being a 'childish like game' lol interestinggg
