As some of you may know, in 1.5 HD`s marketing run, Square Enix released FAKE screenshots of the game that included enhanced photos claiming to be the actual remaster.. as proved in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2m_-PvbYwE

 

Now with the new screenshots for 2.5, do you think they're tricking us again? Some signs that the images are faked are that the character`s eyes are "overly glossed" to add more depth the the "creepy faces" that were in the original games.. As you can see here, I`m pretty sure Aqua`s hair and eyes have been altered as well as her clothing...

 

 

I even suspect that it`s in this photo, they have added additional "highlights" to Roxas`s hair and cleaned up the stitching around his pockets on his jacket...

 

 

Hell, even I could do a cheap trick like this... I Photoshoped this image of Ven not to long ago.

I honestly couldn't care less. I'm still getting the game whether this images prove false or not. HD remasters are HD remasters. It's not like they really have to change every detail from the originals. That'd be too much work for a HD remaster anyway.

True but if they advertise this level of detail in the game, wouldn't you want it in the final product while your playing it? Or do the graphics not matter? If that`s the case then just stick with the originals..

Graphics shouldn't have mattered anyway. I'm not looking for eye candy, I'm looking for an amazing story to experience. KH2 FM already adds tons more to the story, which I'll be looking into. I wouldn't expect too much from a HD remaster. It's not like they're remaking the game. They're porting it over and enhancing the appearance and audio by not much at all. 

 

Look at the MX picture. He's wrinkly in it, detail that not even the trailer showed. Which matters more, a tiny image unworthy of complaint or a full remastered game that you can play and enjoy on the PS3?

While it's pretty deceitful to actually alter the images, I didn't buy 1.5 for the new graphics and I won't be buying II.5 for the new graphics, I want the games that weren't released in my country so I really can't care.

Yeah I remember this from 1.5. Even though it really isn't that big of a deal it is still wrong that Square Enix does this and it is still false advertisement. 

Hell if this is gonna be a big deal, Square should just toss the game out the window since if someone does something about it, they'll be forced to stop production on a heavy hitter title.

I don't really care about the graphics to be honest. Just the fact that I will be able to play KH2 again and BBS for the first time is enough for me to buy the game

That screenshot pretend like they had replaced Riku's original flat-face 3D model with a high resolution 3D model of him instead. Any screenshots from KH 2.5 which doesn't feature any sudden changes in the characters 3D model can be assumed to how it will in the game.

That's not faked, that's just HD and updated texture. They updated a lot of textures in 1.5 as well. As long as it doesn't involve different 3D models then it's real.

1. The images are not false in 1.5 or 2.5

2. No Photoshop.

3. Models have zero aliasing in screen making edges smoother. Impossible to have no aliasing on PS3 so it won't look like these screens( They show it to us like this so we can have a better look at textures with out jagged edges and either way EVERY dev does this in screens and you guys are not just noticing on this?!) Lol

 

4. Quit whining and wanting everything perfect and be thankful for a WELL TAKEN CARE OF HD Collection unlike most. Cough*silent hill* Cough* PoP...
