Posted January 22, 201412 yr I heard that this port had had longer load times and a couple of bugs that wasn't in the other ports of the game,is that right?? Should I get it from the PS store or should I play the other ports?
January 22, 201412 yr Technically the PlayStation One version is the only basic port, and the PAL version only runs at 50Hz. The Game Boy Advance version was a remake. And the Android version used the GBA version with some things remade. I'd personally avoid it and play either the GBA or Android versions. Or you could wait for the iOS or Windows Phone versions.

I got a used GBA version but the save battery in it has died and I can't save anymore Well,I think I'll get it from either the Virtual console(the original SNES version) or I'll wait

I had a look online and only found the NES games. I'd suggest waiting then.
January 22, 201412 yr From what I understand, the PS1 ports of the SNES Final Fantasy games were pretty poorly done. I have the port for FFIV, and while I haven't noticed any bugs, the music's kinda delayed, which gets a bit annoying. The FFV port actually had a game breaking bug though, so I personally don't trust the PS1 ports after hearing about that one. (They didn't even fix the bug when they put it on PSN... Lazy ports of lazy ports, yay). I'd recommend just getting the SNES version through the Wii Shop, that's how I got it.

January 22, 201412 yr Wait? Are you expecting it to be on HD for PS4? Lol. God no, I don't see any FINAL FANTASY games getting a full remake anytime soon. We'll get iOS and Windows Phone versions of VI soon. And it wouldn't surprise me if Square Enix release the latest versions of I-VI (including The After Years) on PC.

January 22, 201412 yr Wait? Are you expecting it to be on HD for PS4? HD remastered/remade versions of EVERY Final Fantasy on PS4 in one pack for 60 dollars! Square would be swimming in money!
January 22, 201412 yr I'd get the virtual console version,I also heard that the PS1 version had load time
January 22, 201412 yr on Wii virtual console, they already have the American version of FF1,FF4 and FF6 I didn't see that, I only saw I, II & III.
January 22, 201412 yr I didn't see that, I only saw I, II & III. They used the original localized numbering because that's what the games were released under on our side of things when it wasn't so obvious Square was cutting us short of some installments.
January 22, 201412 yr Author I didn't see that, I only saw I, II & III. That's their name during the 90's back then, only FF1,4 and 6 were localized for the SNES and the rest remained in Japan So Square had to rename them into FF1,2 and 3 despite them being 1,4 and 6,FF2 and 5 didn't get localized until the Ps1 ports of them While FF3 remained Japan exclusive until the DS remake of it Look up any Final Fantasy retrospective and it'll tell you the same thing I've said Edited January 22, 201412 yr by Metal Snake
January 23, 201412 yr I can personally attest to the awful load times of the PS1 ports. You're better off sticking with the original SNES version.

January 23, 201412 yr How long the load times are??Are they like 15+ seconds??? If so,I'm sticking with the SNES versionVirtual console version For instance, the transition from the main screen to the main menu is at least five seconds. That doesn't sound like much, until you compare it to the six or so seconds it takes in the original to open your menu, use a potion or two, and exit.
