Well I was just pointing out that they made a Zelda reference in DKTF :P.

Yeah too bad Nintendo couldn't have done anything more creative than this extremely overused reference...

You'd think that someone as cool and tough looking as Funky Kong would be out there helping DK take down the bad guys who took over their island, but no. Instead, he lets two kids and an old ape help DK, and sells them items in the safety of his shops. Not cool, man.

"Liking" Zelda informer on facebook makes it seem ridiculous that someone could actually miss the Zelda reference here.  

I think at this point, "I see what you did there." no longer applies. This reference has been used so many goddamn times that any sort of novelty it once had is no longer.
