March 4, 201411 yr I doubt it'll end in World War III, but it's very likely something is going to happen. Whether we'll feel affects globally, though, I can't make a judgement.

March 4, 201411 yr If there is going to be a WWIII then it won't be for a very long time. Everyone's overreacting about what's happening in the Ukraine. Yes, there's gonna be fighting, but the US won't be involved, and I doubt the European powers will involve themselves either. And I assume by saying you don't think you'll live through it you mean you're afraid we'll be nuked? In response to that, it's a 50/50 thing. I can definitely see a-bombs being used, but those are survivable with bomb shelters and even through dumb luck (like being underwater in a swimming pool or something) They wouldn't be the end. The h-bomb is what would bring about basically the death of a huge portion (or all of) humanity, but I'm pretty sure it'll never be used. Even at the height of the Cold War, Russia and the US were competiting to build at faster as a form of deterrence. They wouldn't use it unless the other fired it first (which they wouldn't).

About the European forces , it's true . Germany certainly does not want to "take part" in this little "fight" . As well as , France (as far as I've heard) .I am not sure about the Balkans though . Greece won't AND wouldn't take part in it ,because ,you know, of her financial situation but I am not sure about the rest of the Balkans .

March 4, 201411 yr You guys are worrying too much. You see, the president of Ukraine secretly held negotiations with President Putin. And at the end, he basically gave up his country. Because the Ukraine president couldn't handle a civil war. There were those who wanted to be under Putin and Russia, and those who wanted to be there own country. The Ukraine president was charged with treason, and is locked up. The Russian troops are in Ukraine to take over the territory. They will not kill any, unless there is a resistance. It is just in case, and to show them fear. Obama is too much of a weakling to get involved. The world overreacted to the situation.
